How did you choose your user name?
I wanted a username that meant something tangible
Say you walk into a room, on your left is a table of desserts and on the right is a table of assorted meats, which do you check out first?
Meats first, then be careful with desserts because I'm diabetic

I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in English Language, Literature and Journalism - what does that say about me?
Where do you see yourself by this time, next year?
Living in France full time
Tell me about your job, if any, what satisfaction it gives you.
Immense satisfaction having designed, patented and trademarked a travelator that can be used either for international airport luggage or supermarket trolleys. Its manufacture is licenced out in Europe and the US, and made me a lot of money. The satisfaction came from working on a design that first began as a doodle on the back of a beer mat. To think... my school teachers punished me for doodling..from which great ideas were born.

Year 2002 when I knew I had to keep my baby
Do you like savory foods or sweet foods?
Savory, but I always hanker after sweet.

Nope, but I broke somebody for trashing my Jaguar XK
What do you like collecting?
Things that move; anything mechanical. eg. toy steam engines, I also collect vintage cigarette lighters
What's something you find extremely pathetic?
Racism, animal cruelty, judgemental people and 'male studs'.

Yes, my family's neighbour for blocking our entrance

My wife's
