Hi. I’m 14 and I had a slight toothache since last week. I didn’t pay much heed to it. Then I had a fever and swollen gums. My parents took me to an emergency dental clinic in Scarborough and I was diagnosed with a gum infection. I maintain a good oral hygiene and I have no clue how my gums got infected. I have read in an article that rinsing mouth with warm salt water is a home remedy for healthier gums. Any other dental health tips? I really don’t want any dental problems at this age.
