Guys, I got kneed in the nuts. It's the second time that has happened to me, and it hurt like fuck. Any advice?
Any wrestlers on here?

I thought there are cups for protection.curious open-minded short but not so short guy from Germany. open for conversations/PMs, all topics, all ages, all genders

Most guys don’t wear cups. They just move around which can make things worse.

That's some very wrong gear design than... you would have thought men would design useful protection for that body part. Sorrycurious open-minded short but not so short guy from Germany. open for conversations/PMs, all topics, all ages, all genders

Good point

I wrestle - maybe try wearing compression shorts or a jockstrap, without the cup? I wear a regular jockstrap, and it keeps my balls held tighter in against my body. Seems like I get bumped around a lot less cause they are not hanging out there.

I usually wear a jockstrap under my singlet.

Wearing a jock does help with the latter. Not so much the former.

Well, I guess the jockstrap cushions the blow slightly of getting kneed in the nuts, but I guess getting hurt just comes with the territory.
There are contoured cups that fit inside jockstraps, too, and they may (though I’m unsure) be more comfortable on your junk. Have you tried jocks with contoured cups that fit inside them? -
My dad gave one of his old Bike jocks with a cup, and that actually works pretty well.

Great! I’m glad you found something useful!

Whenever I tried to wear a cup before under my singlet, it ended up shifting around and I got my dick or one of my nuts outside the cup. But my dad’s old Bike jock and cup work great. I’m glad he gave it to me.

That's funny that you got a jock from your father. I didn't know what a jockstrap was until my dad showed one to me. I'd never seen one at school, but come to think of it, I had actually seen a couple of old guys wear jocks at the club where I go sometimes with my dad. Everyone at my school wears wrestling briefs (compression briefs) under our singlet. I asked coach about jocks and he said we can't wear them anymore -- he says NASF rules require "appropriate undergarments that completely cover the groin and buttocks." And they enforce the rule at meets. Therefore, no jockstraps. Coach says they don't want to have weirdos with telephoto lenses taking pics of our bulges or ass crack. For practices, we can wear anything we want so a few of us freeball, which is cool. I dunno if this helps with the kneeing problem, but I haven't heard of anyone talkin about it here.

Yeah seems like a jock would actually help with showing too much dick bulge, keeps everything much more contained/compressed.

Those lighter singlets seem like the worst... Doesn’t leave much to the imagination!
I mean I guess everyone has their parts and you can’t totally hide things. I’d be just as worried about things hanging out and getting grabbed or twisted!
