i am completely confused.... the xxx.xx_xx exc thing is very confusing, you should just add what java version you provided in the xxx.xx_xx part... it keeps saying path not specified, could not find internal or external command press any key to continue, then it exits. How do i get the Java command code that you used for an example?? confusing to a new person at creating servers...

It's usually a generic thing, I probably didn't define what the x's represent and I'm too lazy to check if I did say; pretty sure I did say though. The x's you replace with the version you have, because everyone will have different versions; especially as my guide is now outdated. For example (This has nothing to do with this guide but is a perfect example to use the x's)
The standard IPv4 is 192.168.x.x
My IPv4 is 192.168.1.79
Where as my old IPv4 was 192.168.0.79
Notice how I replace the x with a number, because I know the number.. So to relate back to the guide 9I can't give an accurate number because I'm lazy to check the latest version, and I don't have it on my PC) soo..
As an example, xxx.xx_xx could but will not be for you, could be 164.35_92
Get the drift? You have to browse you PC for the version YOU have.. Which would be c:\Program Files\Java\

i need help with the .bat files.
I click on the compile .bat and the CMD comes up but it says
Note: Stream.java uses or overrides a deprecated API
Note: Recompile with -Xlint:deprecation for details
Press any key...
What does this mean, and what do i have to do to fix it and compile correctly? Thanks so much for your help. The post was edited 1 time, last by acar25 ().

about make the new rule and fill in the blanks with this information:
Name: "Check one below"
IP address: "Check 2 below"
TCP Ports to open: 43 594
UDP Ports to open: 43 594
Inbound Filter: Allow All
Schedule: Always
WHERE I have to go to enter this information? (You Can Specify to me?) -

Well, If you read the guide slowly and correctly you'd notice I said this: "Now we will need to make the rule for your router, by doing this you need to go into your router."
You need to login to your router to make the appropriate adjustments, my guide should say how. -
Thanks! couple glitches here and there bc i have windows xp but this helped alot! iused project 16 found it much easier, but anytips on coding or what programs im going to need? pm me with an answer please

which is stupid because I'm looking right at that file!!! any suggestions?
