What do girls think of shy guys?

I was just wondering what girls really thought of shy guys because I am shy myself and I have never had a girlfriend before or even been on a date. I know that I am only 17 and I have plenty of time but most guys would of at least been on a date by the time they are 17.

i like em they always tend to be the nicer guys to be honest.

Same thing goes with shy girls. They are difficult as well.

In short-term relationships, shyness is a big turndown. But if you are thinking of having a long-term one, some girls think shy people are cute, kind and nice, like stars&straps. Also they feel safer because you tend to be more loyal and full of love.
You won't be rejected and hated just because you are shy and didn't have a relationship. Just don't underestimate yourself and your qualities, and you will be more than fine.

i agree shy guys do tend to be the nicer guys
i dont look down on anybody especially not shy guys cuz i myself am shy
i think shy guys can be a lot of fun when you get to know them and they get comfortable around you
if they are shy because they are insecure about themselves then thats a different story cuz how can you like someone that doesnt even like themselves

I'm an outgoing, non-shy kinda girl so I find that the outgoing, upfront dudes are the types I'm more attracted to. Some girls like shy guys, though.

shy guys are not always shy all the time...they do change sometimes, depending on the time, and with who they're communicating

I actually dont mind the shy guys. Yeah they can be difficult but what shy person isnt? I would think it adds to the cuteness ^_^. I mean I can be shy myself but once i get to know people I'm not as shy. So yeah I like the shy guys =D

Hmm, but sometimes for people it lasts longer then just at the beginning. But I think getting to know that person no matter how shy he or she is, is worth it.

BennyBoy777 - you ask a pretty remedial question. The non-shy girls like the shy boys and the non-shy boys like the non-shy girls. Non-shy girls don't go for shy boys and non-shy boys don't go for shy girls.

well depends. if a girl starts talking to you and you can keep the conversation interesting, even if youre too shy to flirt, then you become her challenge!

but if youre the shy that comes off as rude, like if she talks to you and you answer with one word and dont ask her anything, then she'll lose interest pretty quickly, most likely.

I hate shy guys. They're usually great friends, but not what I want in a boyfriend. I'm really obnoxious, so I feel more comfortable around someone who's equally obnoxious. I know I won't intimidate them, and we can both joke around and be loud and stupid.
