My boyfriend is in the military. He hasn't gone away yet, but I think if he did it would not change our relationship. I would never cheat on him...I would just miss him like crazy until he came home.

I am preparing myself the reality of him going away. I hope he never does, but you never know with the way things are going in Iraq.

    i agree with chelsea
and also it depends on the relationship
if there is true love, feelings wont change
and i would wait for him..
even though we would have to handle with distance
who knows, maybe things turned out to be bad, but i would give it a try 4 sure

Not all true love military stories work out though.

My boyfriend is also a volunteer firefighter, and there's a guy in his department that is also in the armed forces (I'm not sure what branch). Well, he went over to Iraq a couple of months ago, and he's still there. He was married, but his wife cheated on him with a younger guy while he was over in Iraq risking his life.

    How shitty is that?

I hate women who do that to their military husbands. That's pretty messed up, if you ask me.

    thats awful
i mean, u get married with sb if u are mature enough to realize that u want to be with this person in ur life
    why cheating on him?
i think, that noone deserves to be cheated, no matter what he does,
i mean, if sb is not good enough for u, for some reason, break up with him, dont cheat him
and he was on the army too.
thats shitty. as u said.. horrible.
pretty messed up, i would agree..

(Just keep in mind that I'm Selfish and A Bitch)

A few years in the military...just a few years of lonliness....THEN BOOM!!!!

Your rich...you got money up the ass...

I wouldn't have to worry about anything!

He is in FT. Leonardwood MO right now.
He is comming back in June for a little while, then off to Germany.

It is hard, but I love him and he loves me.
    So we make it work.
It's what you do when you're in a relationship.
