You just need to strike up some conversation with her. Light hearted, simple questions like "Are you settling in okay?", "Where abouts in the US did you come from?", "Enjoying Greece so far?" some questions like that.. Or, you could go for the traditional question of what time it is.

Once you've broke the ice with the very first conversation, things should be easier. Take the time to get to know her first, though before making a move - I'm sure she'd appreciate that.
