Does anyone know any good work outs for abs? I saw a picture of a friend and he was ripped, I wanna get into that kind of shape. I'm already pretty skinny, I just need tone. Any suggestions?

Mmmmm. Good luck.
Six packs are HOT! -
do sit-ups/roman chairs/running. the key to a six pack isnt the actually the muscles but the tone, so you have to run to lose wieght to get a six pack. the less fat you have the more it will show, but the bigger the muscles are the nicer the six pack will look

dont just work your abs, try and get pecks with them..
i do 100 pushups and crunches a night....
ive been doing a different form of pushups though, its called the 22 second pushup
you get into pushup position and you start your down thrust and make it last for 10 second
about an inch or 2 off the ground hold for 2 second then with your up thrust make it 10 seconds as well.
your arms start shaking and you can feel the pain.
same with crunch except you just slow the while process down.. no 2 second hold or 10 second up and 10 seconds down. -
Do weighted sit ups, they help quite a bit.Muhammed Ali-I hated every minute of training, but I said, ''Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.'' STAND BY!!!!!!

You have to do different exercises. Its hard to explain in English, but I try. There are several types of abs: upper. middle and lower. Im doing something like that: First exercise is that I sit and hold my legs like 10 cm in the air. My back is up also. You should hold it like 8x10 seconds or 1x 45-90s. That's good exercise. Second one is situps, but you don't let your back on the floor during the exercise. Series of like 3x25-50. There are some exercises in the gym also, but its very hard to explain them, because i dont know the names of the machines. You must also eat properly. Hope, Ive helped a bit

The only working out I really do is pushups on my knuckles, 100 of those when I wake up. I'm just toned though..I wouldn't really go as far to say I'm ripped or anything. Def. done a lot for me though.KAPPIN '08

Lie on your back, lift you legs up off the ground, and your head and chest, so only your lower back is on the ground, put your arm back behind you head.
Try hold this for as long as you can, do a few times everyday and your on your way to getting a six pack, that what i used to do, but now I am lazy.
Also eat healthier for the time you do this for bigger benefit

thats me. and heres my advice, (I have a better body now) do 10 sit ups a night, tense your stomach muscles alot and that will help them to difine more. 10 situps a night and you will have the abs you want in no time. its simple, its easy. have fun.[SIZE=2]Gay and looking for a friend? Cirrax, i'm not trying to be mean or anything here, but one of the only reasons that worked out for you is because of your size. Really skinny people have a much easier time getting abs then other sized people, and simply because of the fact that everybody has abs they just need to be defined, and they need to grow. Which means that people who weigh more, and have body fat need to diet, and get lean in order for their abs to show.
Though, if your skinny, like Cirrax ( again, not trying to be mean or anything of that nature ) Abs are very easy to get, because you can do limited exercise, and see great results. Since all you need to do is define/grow the muscle thats already there, don't have to lose weight or anything. Though, the bad side of that is that Cirrax, and other people his size, are typically 'hard gainers' which means its hard to put on weight/muscle mass. So there's a plus and a minus.
But, as far as the post goes, and the question your asking. Read my guide, ' Complete health and fitness 2.0 ' it will tell you pretty much everything you want to know about getting abs and what exercises to do and what not.
Good luck to ya man.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Look at my sig, im not ripped but thats my natural body, i never work out

If you are skinny, then I highly suggest working out. If you aren't skinny, I would recommand it anyway.
You see, some people think just having six packs is hot. But it doesn't really look good compared to a guy who has a great body (V-shape, thick arms & pecs) and six packs. -
Whats he said ^
I have loads of girl friends and they all say they like guys with big arms... so yeah. im not too bothered about my body and im too lazy to go to the gym. but if your doing it for the girls do an all body workout -
You can't spot train..meaning you can't only do ab workouts if you want a six pack. Nutrition is a big part in trying to get a six pack. if your nutrition is bad..then you won't really be able to get that six pack you want. train your whole body..circuit training & weight training is the best along w/ good nutrition.A day without laughter is a day wasted - umg
