I've never heard of 'morning wood'. Forgive my ignorance of these phrases but I'd have thought 'morning wood' was something like a logger's term.

We don't wake up with a hard on because we have to pee. We have to pee because we've been asleep for a while. Guys normally get on average, 5 erections a night. It has nothing to do with being horny. The body just does that to keep it working and a steady supply of blood going to the penis.
