Ok, so there's been rumors going around my class that one of my best friends is a lesbian. Everyone thinks this cuz a few weeks ago at an assembly she was liek sittin really close to one of her other friends and this girl that waas sittin behind them said tht my friend was 'all over' her friend.

I used to tell my friend anytime I heard anything from anyone about her being a lesbian, but now I'm starting to think the same thing. I don't really know why I think she is, but I just have this feeling, it's like, the way she acts around ppl.

She's had 2 BFs n kissed 1 but she says the kiss only lasted like half a second n didn't mean anything, so she says she hasn't had her first kiss.

Should I say something to her or what? I'm not really sure what to do...

If she is a lesbian, the best thing you can do is wait for her to tell you. It wouldn't be appropriate of you to just come out and ask her. She may be confused and still trying to figure things out. Coming to turns with one's sexuality is quite difficult. If she is a lesbian, you shouldn't treat her any different and you should accept her for who she is. But no, I wouldn't recommend you bringing it up.

I wouldn't base assumptions of her sexuality on rumours.

I say wait for her to say something. It seems like you guys are young and she may be still trying to figure things out, or not ready to talk about it.

It doesnt rele matter though. Who cares if shes a lesbian. Who cares what other people think. It's not a big deal and no one (especially you, her friend) should be treating her any differently.

She might want to talk to someone but not know how to say it.

A 13 year old lesbian? I doubt it. Wait till your sexually mature to worry about stuff like that. Also sitting close to somebody is hardly an indication of them being a lesbian. Neither is "I just have this feeling". You probably have the feeling becuase everyone is spreading the rumour around you think about it now when you see her.

You're 13 years old, which probably means your friend is the same age - No 13 year old really knows if they're a lesbian or not because they don't really understand fully what comes with it.

Ignore the silly rumours in your class - as long as your friend isn't hurting anyone who cares if she's a lesbian or not?

I always see girls hugging and doing lots of stuff in School, There not neccessarily lesbians, Its just rumours, What does ur friend do? Deny or just stay quiet?

try to talk to her. if shes your best friend then she will talk to you. just let her know that you wont treat her any different or anything like that. and try not to just blurt it out or she might be offended by you accusing her of it and being wrong.

If she is and your a real friend then she'd tell you =)
Questioning usually makes things worse and makes people feel awkward,
so even if she was she might feel too on the spot too say anything

just ask her, if she was really 'close' and 'all over' a lad i dont think u would have any problem asking her. Chances are is that she isnt 'les'. but its cos some ppl are react so negative to it that ppl are scared to come out. its the 21st century!!!!!!!

Give it time. It is better for them to come out to you rather than you drag it out of her. Plus, she might be old enough to have an idea of what she wants.. but she hasn't had enough sexual experience to really determine whether or not she is a lesbian. Either way though, support her choices.

Don't push her to tell you that. If she is, she'll tell you.
And you can't just assume she's a lesbian because of what others tell you.
Maybe it was all a misunderstanding.

Lots of girls haven't had their first kisses yet.
You just need to wait and see what happens.
