Okay, my sister is a single mother to an adorable almost-2-year-old little boy. I love my nephew with all my heart, don't get me wrong, but she takes advantage of me. The two of them live with my parents and me. Sometimes it seems like I'm more of a mom to Kenny(my nephew) than my sister is. I end up babysitting him at least 2-3hrs per day most of the time. I'm only 13, I shouldn't have to do this!

Does anyone have any advice for dealing with this? Has anyone else ever been in this position?

Also, I don't get paid, at all, when I babysit.

okay,, next time she says she needs me to babysit, ill say something about it...

what really bothers me is its not like im babysittin so she can go to work... im babysittin so she can go to the store(cuz shes apparently incapable of putting a 2yo in the cart and shopping), so she can go hang out with friends, so she can go smoke a cigarette(cuz she doesnt feel like taking him outside cuz he throws a fit when they come in)... so annoying.

she doesnt even ask, she says "hey, watch him" and leaves
