Do You think long distance relationships work?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for just over a year,
and we are both really happy (:
We live about 3 hours drive away.
Dnt get me wrong, its hard sometimes but seeing eachother is perfect (:
Every second we are together makes up for a day that we are apart.

If you have the chance to move there with her, then I personally wouldn't give it a second thought. You can start a life together, and sure, it's hard to give up a job opportunity, but I am sure there will be work in Lincolnshire when you get there. If you don't go, I think you will regret it

ah i wish i could move. i have to wait a year before i could move. But i don't know. Its either let him be happy and let him go. Or let things keep going and see where it goes.

i'm going to give it a shot guys, if not, will go down in october and see him, and break the news.. going to be really hard.. :cries:

I know this might sound shallow but the physical part of a relationship is very important to me, not being able to cuddle, kiss, and sleep with my partner would really damage the relationship for me.

Not for me. I have to talk to them a lot in person, so long distance is no good.

It does rly depend on the ppl. Me and my bf were in a long distance relationship for 7 months. It was not easy. We had to rly work at it. Communication is key in long distance and trust of course. Makes sure they always understand wat u are saying and mean by something you say or it could lead to a disagreement.

Im living with my bf now and we r both veryhappy. i hope things work out for u 2

I definitely believe you can get to know someone well online and be in a LDR.
But, living with that forever just wouldn't work.

Oh yeah i agree its defiently very hard on a relationship. someone would eventually have to move or something ya know.

My girlfriend and I live about 400 miles apart and we don't get to see each other but we're fine. Hopefully in the next few months she'll be moving down here so we can be together. I think that if you can trust each other enough and you are able to focus on the non-physical aspects of a relationship, then it can work and be just as strong as a couple that live together.
