do you eat turkey, chicken, etc? or no meat at all?

some, if not most, vegetarians eat turkey, fish and chicken. no need to be sarcastic about it.

have you considered veggie dogs or veggie burgers? they're made specifically for vegetarians and contain no true meat or meat byproduct.

It's Vegetarian firstly

and it would help if we know what kind of vegetarian you are. I'm currently a Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian of 1 year, which for those unsure means I eat eggs and drink milk.

Morning Star Farms has a great selection of vegetarian mock meats, personally I love their burgers and mock chicken(chop it up and toss it on my salads). You aren't just limited to pasta, being veg opened up more exotic tastes in foods for me honestly. You can still ofcourse pig out on french fries/onion rings(make sure cooked in veg oil, some places still haven't gotten this yet....). Indian food mostly is vegetarian so check out your local indian resturaunts if you want to take a stab at something cultural.


Also pick up the Veganomicon, which is a vegan cookbook. You're not vegan but it still has GREAT recipes. There are are also a lot of great cooking blogs.



You're not stuck with just Pasta, explore.
