Swine flu

    • Hi all, did you know that Swine Flu can stay on surfaces like
keyboards, door handles and phones! I knew it was passed by people
sneezing and coughing without using a tissue, but didn’t know it could
be passed from surface to surface, did you? I’m working with Boots at

      the moment to raise awareness
The main thing to look out for is a sudden fever or temperature and a
cough – there are lots of symptoms so if you think you have any of
them tell your parents or teachers straight away:
      - Unusual Tiredness - Shortness of Breath or a Cough
      - Headache - Loss of Appetite
      - Runny Nose - Aching Muscles

      - Sore Throat - Diarrhoea or Vomiting
There are other precautions you can take:
      - No Kissing (sorry!)
      - Don’t share drinks or food
      - Don’t pass mobile phones around
      - Don’t share make-up or lip balm (that includes guys as well!)

      - Avoid parties, large social gatherings with people who have had symptons

I'm working with boots too, and i just found out that cleaning with soap and water will get rid of the virus on your hands- i'll certainly be doing that more now.

you're joking right? I was taught from day one that. I have always washed my hands with soap i thought everyone knew that!
I dont get what all the fuss is about. i know loads of people who have had it and are fine! Okay yes, one of the people fairly early on who died was from the village next to my town and she didnt have any other problems but still regular flu kills more people and makes you feel worse and you dont see people go crazy over that. The media just want us to talk about something other than the recession so are making it sound worse than it is.
