I came out to one of my friends. It was a girl who realllllllllllllllllllllllly likes me and wants my sex. (lol) So I told her I was bi and she was cool with it, and she still likes me...a lot... Yay. Now just to tell my best friend. I think telling a guy will be a lot harder.
I did it O_O

Remember, when coming out there's always a way to save your ass if they react negatively. In case of "EEEEEWWWW GET AWAY FROM ME YOU HIV-POSITIVE FAGGOT!" then simply burst out laughing and be all like "LAWL J/K I TROLL U!" and be sure to laugh it off as a complete joke. I've used this technique twice before and they believed my "joke."

They aren't your real friends if they can't accept you for who you are. Fuck them. Don't hide yourself just because a couple of cunts can't accept your sexuality. -

Well yes, that too. :p

A lot of people really are that shallow though. I'm pretty sure at least half of my close friends whom I confide in would react very negatively, maybe not to the point of running off and washing their hands, but the reception would not be overly positive at all.
Really though, who can blame them...their heterosexuality is a religion, and they view "homos" as an insult to their goddess (the vagina). -

ya, people have a tendency to over react like it is some huge major thing that a person is bi/gay. It is almost like it goes against their "religion." I have told a ton a girls that im bi, and they all seem to be fine/un-bothered by it, and the second i tell a guy that im bi, OMG EWWWW! With a few acceptions, male shallowness really prevents acceptence of bi/gay's. It bugs the hell out of that guys are so shallow. -
Congratulations[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

When I casually mentioned I was asexual to a peer while she was blabbing on about some manwhore she met, my very first response was a 3 second silence followed by:
"...how are you going to LIVVEEE!!???" like my life was now in danger because I am not vagina or penis hungry. I wish you a better reception for your sexuality, although I'd reckon to say asexual receptions are the most hilarious."The point of philosophy is to start with something so simple as not to seem worth stating, and to end with something so paradoxical no one will believe in it"-Bertrand Russell -

As an Asexual myself, I have to agree. I've had quite a few people ask me if I reproduce with myself.I'll Be Your Narcotic. I'll Be Your Pill.
