I always have 1 or 2 days of rest to rest my muscles, I go on average 5-6 days a week. Each day I am there for about 1 hour and 30 minutes going on the treadmill, bicep/tricep machines, ab curls along with other machines
How many times a week does everyone go to the gym?

Used to go to MMA gym every day. Until gym closed.Hello JC - Cade -
I never go to the gym (well during the summer) I run and have my own set of weights at my house though[CENTER]

By gym do you mean weight training/cardio or both? The best thing to do is build muscles at a max of 3 times a week and have cardio as a rest period. It's probably better to do cardio before weight training if you do it on the same day so you'll be all warmed up and stretched.

This goes well with my post that if you're doing weights more than 3 or 4 times a week, you're more than likely on a crappy program.

4x a week is fine for most people assuming they're on a decent split like upper/lower or push pull. But yeah it's either that or 3x full body.

There's a huge difference between a warmup and a cardio workout. The former is important before weights, the latter is going to make you lift like shit when you do weights. Not to mention if you've already done weights, your body is going to basically be out of glycogen for your cardio and have to burn fat, whereas if you do cardio first it's going to do less for fat loss and leave you with little glycogen for your weight training. -
will start gym soon xD

I was given permisson to poost here. (Oddly I was told I had to ask first )
Yeah I go everyday. Have been doing so for two years. -
I'm a gymnast, but I'm recovering from an injury, so I train 4 days a week for 3-4 hours a day, and then I go to a gym for 2 days, and have one day off. On my day off I'll sometimes go for a walk or something, but I'm often working, so I'm on my feet anyway.
