Unstoppable -- a poem

    • Unstoppable -- a poem

I’m not vicious like an animal,
But I can kill you with just my words,
I bring it on without fear,
      Without sweat and without tears.

I can’t be taken down easily,
Not even your sword can pierce my being,
      You don’t know me,
      So you can’t touch me,
I create a distance that makes you tremble.

All I want is not to challenge,
But to be challenged so that they see who I am.

      If I can win,
      Then nobody would oppose me.

      If I lose,
      Then I become ridiculed,
      Until I get challenged again.

Why make me choose between the two?
      I only want to survive.

      Feeling as though I’m impervious,
I decide to enter the fray,
The one in which we live in every day,
The one that people conform to all the time.
