I'm still working on how I feel about this. It's never been forced on us growing up, though we all know what religion we are. I probably will adopt a 'cafeteria approach' to religion: accept those things which are helpful to me and society, and which ring true to my values (which of course have been influenced by religion indirectly), and ignore the rest. Belief in a higher being is a stretch for me, though I think criticizing those who do is disrespectful and serves no good purpose.
