Quote from Divinity: “I'm 14, and gay. And while I do feel that I act slightly "girlier" than most boys, I don't run around pretending to have a vagina, shoving my sexuality in people's faces.” for this

I seriously thought they were gonna end it with them all burning to a terrible crisp...I was totally crying during that scene... And then at the end when Andy gave his toys away, I cried some more I want to see it again!

  • Brutha-to-brutha Hell no that ain't true. He just doesn't want his girl to near you because he's afraid that she'll get a case of that jungle fever. And you know, once you go black....

  • Quote from Vulpix: “Hot story? Well, one day I woke up from a deep deep slumber to find myself very...hot. So, feeling this way, I got up, got out of my bed. Walked downstairs. Went to the closet. Got my fan. Took it upstairs, plugged it in, got back into bed. Went back to sleep for a few hours. Got up, got dressed, got a bite to eat, and stepped outside. It was about 102F. TALK ABOUT HOT. There's your hot story.” Fuuuuuck I'm soo hard right now.

I love Maus! I read Maus I&II last year. It's an easy read since they're just comics.

No he shouldn't be ashamed...There's nothing wrong with you. You're a teen, we all go through those stages of exploring and being curious. My question for you, Fredy, is do you want something to happen?

Ugh...Why can't teachers just say "Here! Read these books and have fun discussing them amongst your friends!" instead of slapping us with a load of work that we won't do until a week before school starts.

I'm currently wearing braces, and I have for about 5 years now. As everyone else said, the process of getting them on won't hurt, but the next couple days when your teeth start shifting around will suck because you will feel a bit sore. Other than that, there's no biggy. It might take you awhile to get used to talking with them in your mouth. I remember drooling a lot when I first got them, but you'll learn!

Do any of you have a summer reading assignment? I have to read some books for my AP American Literature class. They Say, I Say: The Moves that Matter in Academic Writing, Gerald Graff and Cathy Birkenstein, 2nd ed. Mindset: The New Psychology of Success, Carol Dweck, Ph.D. and Native Speaker by Chang-Rae Lee I can't say I'm looking forward to the first two because I have to take notes on them, but I can't wait to get the third book because I got to choose that one:D

Well I was under the impression that you wanted a question answered, not to be reassured.

  • Obviously your boyfriend wasn't ready for becoming an adult, he's 17. I think you need to have a serious conversation about this with him. If he isn't willing to hear you out, then you should break things off with him. I'm sure you can find a real man who will be there for you.

Well maybe you should watch your mouth next time and you won't find yourself in that situation.

  • Quote from Kevmo7: “everybody has to die sometime, to die fighting is the highest amount of glory any man can achieve, why do you think so many solders march off to certain death, expecially in wars like world war 2.” It's not how a soldier died that made them a hero, it's how they lived.

  • The man refused because he was looking out for himself, he didn't know the family. The woman obliged because she was looking out for her daughter, she didn't know the man. My point being, both people can reasonably justify their decisions, and I really can't decide if the woman made the right decision. The girl most likely ended up emotionally scarred, and the man was emotionally and physically scarred. So if I were to weigh the damage on both sides, I'd say that the man suffered the most out of…

  • Based on experiences from my friends and personal experience, honesty is always preferred over excuses. You should want a relationship to be based on trust and understanding, right? So there's no reason not to be up front with your thoughts and feelings. When you want to kiss or have sex is up to you, not up to him. If he can't understand that, then he's not fit to be with you (or in my opinion, any other girl). A problem can't be fixed by avoiding it, so just tell him you're not ready.

I'm Not Your Toy-La Roux I just love the first verse and chorus. Story of my life =P "Love, love is like a stubborn youth That you'd rather just deny I'm walking on a broken roof While I'm looking at the sky It's all false love and affection You don't want me You just like the attention Yes it's all false love and affection You don't like me You just want the attention I'm not your toy This isn't another girl meets boy I'm not your toy This isn't another girl meets boy"
