  • OOOOHHH DDDUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE... I know some shizzle.. Microsoft Briefcase is one but is apparently "shit"... Um, something I came across but haven't used it, is SyncToy2.0 from MS.. But you said you don't care. >_>"

  • Um, Well storing the older version will obviously be open to flaws that were fixed in the recent updates (ie WLM Version 2009 - Buil 14.0) Which means, the version you will have will be open to any viruses that have not been patched for your version because its out of date. The idea of any and every software package is to keep it up-to-date because they generally added improvements and/or security improvements.. Whether is a visual improvement or behind the scenes, no matter what having updates,…

  • To be perfectly honest with you, I'd use the latest MSN mainly because its an obvious update from Windows 7.5 which will mean it should be more secure than the old version. Also, WLM 9 has been out for AAGGEESS, you're well out of date.

  • Generally I leave it, You can't do much if it's your ISP. Best thing is to do is grin and bare it.. But you can call them if you want but don't expect it to be simple. They'll probably go through alsorts of crap like they usually do.. Never getting to the point, but instead going through tasks that usually fix an error. -.- Seriously, I can imagine it... "Hello, I can't connect to a site" "Have you checked your firewall?" "It's not me, its YOU!" "Have you made sure you're router is not blocking …

I touch my m…

  • Usually when I can't connect to a site I just leave it for a night and its fixed. Gotta love your ISP.. I assume you'd be on Vista to get that message, jusr open CMD as Admin. (Right click it, "Run as Administrator", then try again - Never really used that method before but thats how to get around the elevation shizzle)

I personally just move all my files to a partition on the HDD that won't be touched during installation. Though If you don't have a 2nd HDD or a 2nd partition I'd used DVD-RWs to store my data. There is programs to backup, such as the deafult Backup system that comes with Windows.. But I just prefer to backup things myself so I know what I've backed up and where I put it.
