To be perfectly honest with you, I'd use the latest MSN mainly because its an obvious update from Windows 7.5 which will mean it should be more secure than the old version. Also, WLM 9 has been out for AAGGEESS, you're well out of date.

Usually when I can't connect to a site I just leave it for a night and its fixed. Gotta love your ISP.. I assume you'd be on Vista to get that message, jusr open CMD as Admin. I personally just move all my files to a partition on the HDD that won't be touched during installation. Though If you don't have a 2nd HDD or a 2nd partition I'd used DVD-RWs to store my data. There is programs to backup, such as the deafult Backup system that comes with Windows.. But I just prefer to backup things myself so I know what I've backed up and where I put it.
