You seem to misunderstand my point, Yes the first account you make is an admin account.. But the default system Admin account is called "Administrator" and by default is disabled for security reasons.

Well if you follow the guide I linked it gives you several options to enable the built in Admin account (not yours) and you can then do your shit.

OH, Let me guess... You don't know the admin password.. Figures, There's a way to remove the admin password but it requires either the installation disc or Linux distribution.

I would remove both cards, boot the machine see how it reacts. A nice reaction should happen to report it has no memory, from there I would install one card.. Boot it up, make sure it recognises the upgrade. (Check in the BIOS) After that, turn the machine off and then I would put the 2nd card in and check the BIOS again see what it reports now..
