  • I think having songs that remind you of someone who is no longer here is a good thing as it can help us to get over what happened. I had the same thing with Hold On by Good Charlotte when my best friend passed away.

  • Could you transfer to a new area to find more friends somehow? Or try to go to a new school that isnt like anywhere you've been before or considered going to to see if you can find some new friends that way? Or are there any clubs for anything you're intersted in local to you? Could you go back to being friends with the people in your old school who you dont get to see any more somehow?

  • Have you tried finding people in similar situations in your area to talk to? That way you would have something in common with them and they would be local so you could possibly meet them some time and get to know them better. And just talking on here and getting to know people can make you feel less isolated and alone as well, even though the people arent actually there with you. It'll help to pass the time if nothing else.

  • I cant talk to the teachers about it until January 7th anyway as thats when i go back to school so i guess I have from now until then to talk to my mum about it. Then I guess I have to see where it goes from there. And I guess if all else fails, I only have to wait about 5 or 6 months until I can get out of the school anyway. Just got to hope the time goes fast if she wont help me or the school wont listen I guess. Thanks for replying. It's appreciated.

  • It's good to have songs which mean something to you, even if it is something sad, because at least you have something to associate the feeling or memory with. Thats how I tend to think about it anyway.
