Quote from Frosty: “I never made an assertion to the contrary. I'm just saying that path isn't ideal. Plenty of those nutrients are much harder to get. And fat isn't bad for you. Take your broscience back to the 1980's.” I just don't know why the idea needs to be attacked as this is a thread about losing weight. Which can easily be done with calisthenics and a vegan diet. I'm unsure what broscience means but of course fats aren't bad for you. I'd just rather get my fats from food like avocados a…

Quote from Frosty: “Because you're unnecessarily cutting out good sources of nutrition that could be beneficial in losing weight in a healthy manner. Because they're nutritious?” its not impossible to lose weight in a healthy manner and be vegan simultaneously. and you can get those nutrients in other ways besides dairy which is very fatty

Quote from Frosty: “ There's no reason to go vegan, and plenty of reasons not to.” this is about diet. and i don't know with what reasoning if you lead a healthy vegan lifestyle you would say that when the threadmaker asked about losing weight. though i don't eat a lot of dairy products (mainly i just eat pizza as my girlfriend works in a pizza parlor and i come by it freely) but i'm not vegan. it makes sense though. why would i want the milk (and milk byproducts) or eggs of another creature?

She's good don't get me wrong but there are many better greats.” I feel like anybody who has listened to YS as extensively as I have would agree with me on her greatness. Have One On Me is massive and very good but nowhere near YS for me. the imagery, her skill as a harpist, other sounds & harmonies she puts in and I h…

I could support House music being better in Europe. I don't really listen to House though so it doesn't concern me. On the whole I think that the USA has much better modern music than any other place in the world.

Quote from mawsie: “Only works if your vegan diet is well planned, you need important nutrients in a diet which are normally found in meats. ” being vegan you are limited to basically fruits, nuts, vegetables & good grains. if you mix this with working out there is pretty much no question that you will loose weight. of course it has to be planned out as the eating world is not designed for vegans so you have to give a lot of conscious thought to your diet as opposed to eating anything you please…

Immense harp skills, big big big voice and excellent story telling Animal Collective is innovative and interesting and has a lot of material like nothing else before Animal Collective. CocoRosie are more like performance artists but the music is real

Quote from Radioactive_Pig: “If you make a band, or you're a solo performer, there's only one goal that you're ever going to want to reach, and that's to be signed. Otherwise you're just a few people playing instruments in a garage. And even they hope to be known someday. If you're any sort of band, you will upload your songs onto the internet, and do small time gigs to get your name known. It's called ambition. We all have it.” I disagree. You can have ambition as a musician and not strive to g…
