  • Quote from ByTor190: “Proof is not limited to seeing things. You can prove something exists without seeing it, what would the blind do if you couldn't? Would everything be inferred to them?” In terms of astronomical bodies, the other 4 senses are not very helpful, just so you know. You can't taste a black hole (somewhere in there is a very dirty pun waiting to happen, don't fail me now Teenhut). Besides, I don't mean 'see' in the most literal sense possible, I mean 'directly observe'. We theoriz…

  • Quote from Nessax: “Big step up from weed and tobacco to LSD. :o” Maybe in terms of trip intensity, but I'd recommend your average drug user looking to expand his horizons experiment with LSD before most other drugs. Physically, it's a "safe" drug.

  • Life is fulling of dealing with people you don't like, get over it. Either that, or actually fight her. I've been promised by numerous girls that a fight is soon to go down, but then it never happens. I've given up hope, and come to the sobering realization that unless there is some money involved, girls probably won't fight...

  • Quote from rmg126: “>Rush Limbaugh stoppedreadingthere.jpg” I didn't make it past "Muslim scientists or whatever". Sounds reputable...

  • Quote from Esmo: “Err... The soldiers? It's the people who died in the War who are by far most worth remembering.” I thought that was a little weird too, considering the fact that most Americans see World War II memorials and think a great deal about the Pacific Theater as well, if not equally as much as the European one.

  • Quote from humanafterall: “Grinding: self control is the way to go ;)” If a girl is 'grinding' on you and due to your amazing 'self control' she doesn't feel something happening, she will probably think you are impotent.

  • Quote from Tombgeek: “If science can't prove it, it does not exist in my opinion.” That's a little bit overzealous if you ask me. Science can't necessarily prove black holes exist, because obviously you can't see one, but they can infer that they exist due to observations and logical thinking. But I digress, religion is not one of those things that can be inferred, so the spirit of your post was right, I'm just being pedantic.

  • I'd post a comprehensive list, but last time a certain spiteful moderator gave me an infraction for it and deleted my post, which I don't have the time to type up again. I'll just say that I've done a fair amount, but nowhere near a majority.

  • Quote from Bob321: “Well stop thinking about your dick and actual respect a fucking girl instead of thinking about her sexual then this wont happen” Because you can't respect a woman and wish to have sex with her.. Oh wait, that's entirely possible. On topic, it doesn't happen when I hug just any girl, but if it's a girl I have a lot of feelings for, then yeah, I start to salute.

  • Quote from Aannddyy: “The Twin Towers were an absolute eyesore. If they're going to build any sort of skyscraper, at least make it look decent.” I have to agree. Horrible tragedy aside, the old Twin Towers look like a massive stack of papers. The proposed design is actually modern, and interesting.

  • I believe Jesus was a wise man who got some things right in the terms of morality. However, I don't see him as being anymore of a superhuman benevolent zombie than anyone else.

  • I got an iPhone 4 not too long ago. I like the Apple factor (I'm not one of those people who won't admit that they got an iPhone because it makes their social stock go up), it's very versatile, and of course it plays all my music. Even if you don't get an iPhone specifically, I'd really recommend a smartphone. Before I got one, I didn't think I'd use the internet on it all that much because it seemed cumbersome, but you get used to it and now I use it all the time for email, directions, shit lik…

Social liberal, fiscal conservative. I think the government should interfere with our personal lives or the economy as little as possible. However, I'm not an anarchist or a fan of unbridled capitalism, I just think that the ideal amount of government intervention is fairly low.

  • Heather grey. Probably one of my favorite colors, to be honest.

  • Quote: “i believe it is a physical and emotional addiction. &you can NOT tell me otherwise if YOU HAVE NEVER GONE THROUGH IT you dont know wat peopel feel” You believe wrong. There's no possible physical addiction to cutting yourself, you aren't going through withdrawal when you stop no matter what you want me to think. To suggest that you do is purely idiotic. It doesn't matter that I've never cut myself, I don't need to do heroin to know that it's extremely physically addictive, and the conver…

I don't have any personal attachment to them, no, and I realize they all belong in the top 10, but only Kobe deserves the number 1 spot.

    1. Kobe Bryant I don't care about the rest.

  • Quote from twistin_tumbler: “For people who cut, it is an addiction. The rush people get from it, nothing compares to it.” Many things compare to it, and surpass it. Cutting releases endorphins into the brain, but so does a lot of other stuff: physical exercise, masturbation, etc. I'm a human being, and I've felt this rush of endorphins, but I'm guessing you haven't done any illicit drugs, otherwise you would know that the rush you are talking about pales in comparison (going by euphoria) to pre…

  • My parents have never hit me, never even attempted to hit me or anything of the like. They don't believe in corporal punishment for children, and to be honest, neither do I. I got yelled at some of the time, other times my parents would just sit down with me and explain what I was doing wrong. That stopped about 3 years ago, once I entered my middle teenage years, and now they don't really discipline me at all. They know that I have a good idea of what "right" and "wrong" is, and even though I d…

  • Quote from twistin_tumbler: “Cutting is also an addiction. It can be as addictive as, and to some even more addictive than drugs or alcohol. The release of endorphins into the brain can give such a rush, and if it's the only way for some people to get this rush, then it becomes an addiction. ” No, it's not an addiction, and it pales in comparison to any drug's addictive effects on the human body. You will not have potentially fatal withdrawal when you stop cutting, you will not build up a tolera…
