Hi Rowell, Goats will eat you out of house and home, esp the wild ones. Best you don't see one eh? haha. The northern area of Kalymnos has been left wild for some time. It's because visitors rarely stop except to drive onto the village to eat at one of the tourist joints. But they just need to stop and take in the peacefulness. But they rarely do. Maybe this could be said of other places because beauty is all around. You just need to tune into it. Thank you for your comments, also Kevin and Owen…

  • Brayden wrote his poem because probably, that was exactly how he was feeling. He wrote it well in my opinion.

So this is where I'd sit for wanting shade but also solitude. Anything green I find most relaxing. I'd eat my lunch sandwiches here instead of going home, which was a long walk. Beloved-January08-LyraPipkin042.jpg These goats were part of my herd. I had 180 head. They'd make no effort moving out of the way for cars. Up the far end of the road were road signs saying "Beware of goats". If annoyed by drivers hooting them to get out of the way, they'd butt the vehicles. And others, the males would j…

It was a day off as I remember. Poppi was out fishing, round in Kantouni bay, but I just liked to sit on the grass. It gets terribly hot there in summer. Mostly I prefer the shade of the large plot of land thats behind my cottage which my family were able to buy. I think I've got the pictures of the green shady back yard. I'll share them in a moment if I still have them.

I lived with Poppi in the far north of Kalymnos where, during winter, we'd move to our family's smallholding which was situated right down by the beach. Two pictures I have here to share. The first is where we lived and the second, is our ferry departure for Kos, from Kalymnos. It was taken at 6 in the morning just as the sun came up. GoatGirlNov2007018.jpg ByeKally.jpg

  • It's wonderful you have an English teacher who is so amenable and nice. She'll help you, really would be pleased to I'd imagine.

The word is Constipation. As against Masturbation which always end with a resounding *BONG*. Over the days of non-shat, your poopies compact. If you've ever sneaked into the rear of a McDonald's to see their mechanical compacter at work, it's pretty much a graphic illustration of what's been going on in your body's Crap Department. If Poppi was here she'd recommend a powerful antidote that ensures your constipado never happens again: 2 handfuls of Kalymnian dried figs. Remember MVP: too m…

My mum thought I got over everything, but it's a rare day I don't think of those boys who tortured me on that warm summers day for something I didn't do. Humm.” What motivates you wanting to sell your story? Is it the money? Or is it something you want to get off your chest? If it's to make you feel better then why no…

Yes, I do. Some days it's fine, other days I feel crap. Tonight naturally I feel crap because my partner's gone home for 2 weeks. That's natural to feel sad. But my mum says feeling down is all part of growing up. So don't worry abou it.

Your calling Childline and asking to speak to someone about what's happened, might be for the best. And you can always ask their opinion on if it's worth you selling your story. Also, you have Citizen's Advice Bureau who would advise you.

Quote from COK3CAD3T: “As some of the older members might know, I have had a terrible past year. I was fausly accused of rape which lead to horrific bullying and insane violence. My life has been totally ruined; I haven't been out of the house since May 2008. I'm in fear of my life, all because of a lie someone made up. This is NOT what my thread is about. I'm not asking for advice on that. Anyway, I am thinking of selling my story. I have sent emails off to a front page story company and the su…

Yelling, screaming, name calling - rage! Rage and all the rest is abuse. It is verbal abuse! It's also what I once had done to me by an abusive, hateful, unloving mother and father who made my life Hell. Sometimes people who like drinking conceal their habit until all's secure. Then they bring it all out. And then the physical violence, the sick raging unrelenting abuse is handed out on children and teenagers, even wives. I don't know how old you are, haven't looked yet. But one of the great way…
