So, I haven't really said anything on TH, But i've been going out with a guy for a month now as of tonight. And out of pure coincidence I had the house to myself for 2 nights, so I cooked up a dinner for the special night. I was quite proud of it so I'll put some pics here. First course was a home made pumpkin soup. I forgot to take pictures though but it was delish. Main was home style chicken parmigiana with chunky vegetable chips. The vegetables I used were potato, carrot, sweet potato, aspar…

Both have their advantages and disadvantages. I have both. I have a laptop that I use for most things and I have an iMac in my home studio (really just the spare bedroom lol) which I use for my music composing/mixing/recording/mastering. At this point in time I prefer my Mac... but that's because it's like 100x more powerful then my laptop.

Doesn't Russia have any decent student loan programs? Australian Universities are great for me because the government pays roughly half of my fees plus gives an interest free loan to cover the rest for the duration of my degree. I start paying the loan off after I begin to earn a certain amount of money.

ooh ooh, Confident guys! confidence is a must. He should also be affectionate. I don't like real manly man guys. I guess if I had to choose a hair colour i'd go with blonde. and I don't really like too much muscle. Too much muscle can be a real turn off. And seeing as this is in the fashion section- I like guys who dress with elegance and simplicity. Someone who doesn't feel uncomfortable wearing the classics like a nice suit or more contemporary outfits.

Quote from rmg132: “If you check out these benchmarks: Mac Benchmarks you'll see that the dual-core i7 in the MacBook Pro is beat by the Core i3, i5, and i7 iMacs, which makes since because the latter are desktop processors and the former is a mobile processor. So the iMac is just faster all around. ;)” Yeh I realise that :p... But to the untrained eye who doesn't realise they are different types of processors it seems like that and that makes me look awesome... and lets face it, that's one of t…

I plan on using mine for my music recording/ composing/ editing/ mixing/ mastering and a little bit of video editing- on the go. I think anything less then the i7 macbook would feel clumsy doing this compare to my iMac and i'd get frustrated. lol so I plan on doing a lot of saving... and there's no chance getting my parents to help pay for it... they payed for half of my iMac

Quote from artizhay: “Upgrading RAM is full of fail. Upgrade your processor. Quad-core is sex. Dual-core is like masturbation. Solo is like erectile dysfunction.” nice comparison... lol. Oh and upgrading the processor on the vast majority of production laptops (which is like 99% of laptops) Is for the most part impossible... and even if it was possible it would so not be worth it.

Quote from Scaredycrow: “You can do it in movie maker but without the opacity, I believe. I can't remember though, I haven't used movie maker in a long time. I know the default is red and blocky, I'm sure you can change the red but I'm not sure if it'll fade out like in his picture.” Ahh ofcourse, that must've been what I was thinking. Yeh, I steer clear of movie maker like it's the plague.

Quote from ~+ Bear +~: “Nokia isn't the greatest brand, but the phone looks pretty dece.” A lot of people really dislike Nokia, but I actually think it's the better option if you're going for one of the traditional phone brands. At least I'd pick it over Motorola, LG, Sony Ericsson etc. I've never tried one of their touch devices though so I'm just going off their latest Symbian smart phone OS

Quote from ~+ Bear +~: “It is simple, but I just don't like it. Along with the physical aspects, the GUI looks cluttered to me. Also why I choose iPod over Zune.” I've always had an iPod, I've never had any other mp3 player. The user interfaces are just so much more intuitive. I currently have an iPod touch... so realistically the next step for me is an iPhone.
