Quote from Jay-C: “ and i have to agree with Christopher and mercedes about the royals, their democratic role has severely diminished over the years and now all they do is sign papers and show up at important events.” You better never abolish the monarchy; do you know how much money you bilk from American families like mine who travel to England just to see them?;) Quote from Jay-C: “and just for the record...I love tea :D” Darjeeling? Earl Grey? Orange Pekoe?

My church used to have a priest of Polish descent, so every year we would have the "Polish Dinner." So what do I think of Poland? I love the food! As alluded to on another thread, I am sorry to say most of my fellow Americans are not smart enough to find Poland on a map, let alone formulate stereotypes about it or its people.

Quote from x-mercedes-x: “Lol, i don't get the posh tea-drinking stereotype at all. And most of us aren't football hooligans we're just overly passionate about our teams i mean football and wiganath are my biggest obsession i have a season ticket follow them round the country and i argue all the time but i don't turn to violence so i'm not a hooligan right?. But we do either start or end most sentence with the word right.” Right, well, the fact you have royalty encourages us to believe a large s…

You probably already have, but I would tell him that you cannot tell him to be bisexual, gay or straight because he needs to discover what he is. Tell him even he cannot choose to be one of the three because who he is attracted to is a trait he was born with, and he needs to discover which gender, if not both, he is naturally attracted to. Encourage him to explore his attraction to both sexes if he is confused, and tell him he could be genuinely bisexal and not confused at all.

Quote from Jay-C: “The English sterotypes are soo contradictory...we're posh, tea drinking football hooligans I would be interested to know what the rest of the world really thinks of us...i know we're not greatly liked though lol” Not greatly liked?! I love England and the English. London is my favorite "world class" city; I much prefer it over New York. I would consider living there, at least temporarily. In my experience, the posh, tea drinking stereotype is much more prevalent than…

  • As suggested above, jack off beforehand, or, alternatively, and probably preferably, have her suck you off before sex. In fact, whenever you jack off, concentrate on how it feels when you are close to busting so you will recognize you are reaching that point during sex and you will know to slow down. I recommend those methods over my third suggestion which is wearing 2 condoms. And is he cheating? Not that I believe this s-milf b.s., but, for the sake of argument, let us say he will be meeting h…

Quote from Orange County Ca: “So few blacks live in the NW of the US the race has not been connected to poverty.” You are correct, very few black people reside in the Pacific Northwest. However, I guess I am disturbed with how people from certain regions seem to use "ghetto" to disguise racist remarks. From my example above, the midwesterner with whom I was speaking in Atlanta could have said the airport was a dump, or even "white trash," but, as I discovered, he was not talking about the facili…

  • Quote from RedAlert: “It doesn't matter how bad the child was acting in the T.V. segment. Yes, it would be irritating to me if I were on a flight with a screaming child who raised hell every second of the flight, but all this toddler did was say, "Bye, bye, plane." And the flight attendant did not act in a professional manner by being rude to the mother and suggesting that she sedate her child.” As I implied above, I question whether or not the toddler was only saying "bye, bye, plane," in a cut…

Has anyone else who has had an opportunity to travel through much of the United States observed the word "ghetto" has different meanings dependening on where it is used? For example, I was born and raised--and currently live--in the urban Pacific Northwest, and here the word does not seem to have a racial connotation, it is simply used to refer to something run down. During my travels to the midwest and south, however, I have only ever heard "ghetto" used to describe black people. For example, I…

  • I agree the situation did not warrant returning to the gate and denying them transportation, but observe the child's behavior at the link below . . . ABC News So the mother appears on national television for the purpose of garnering sympathy, probably in preparation for her inevitable lawsuit, and that was the best behavior she could coax from her little brat? It took 3 adults with toys just to keep him under control! As a passenger on board that flight tell me you would not have been glad …

  • May I suggest you embrace some of your O.C.D. tendencies, rather than try to change/eliminate them? The next time you hear on the news about a "break-in" where the burglar just used an unlocked door, chortle with self satisfaction over the fact it will never happen at your house, and then rest easy. Look forward to the day when could be flying on business, secure in the knowledge that no one can steal your ideas because your windows are minimized.:)

Quote from Beepem: “only gay guys wear hollister around here...(east coast), and im straight. ” Are you on the Northeastern seaboard? Because my experience in the Northwest and in the Southeast is that, if one has to designate one or the other as the "gay" brand, it is A&F. Not that I'm saying you're gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

  • I should probably answer my own inquiry: my dad is definately the "wink, wink" type. A perfect example is the first time I made the mistake of going shirtless after relatively recent sex; he saw the scratches on my back and asked, "What the hell happened to your back?" but before he even finished the question I could tell from his eyes he had already figured it out. Before I could answer he said "I just hope you used protection." He tried to say it in a stern voice, but I could tell he was suppr…

  • Quote from Josh2250: “I don't know what kind of brothers they are but I am sure if they find out how your playing them, none of them will want anything to do with you.” Actually, if my brother and I found ourselves in a similar situation I think we would turn the tables and play her; let her continue to think we don't know she is hooking up with both of us, and let her think she has something special with both of us so she will be unable to choose.

  • Quote from Josh2250: “Yeah, sounds like a far stretch but I mean hey, wierd situations, do the brothers know, Cause I am 16, have a 15 year old, and a 12 year old brother, and there is know way you could pull making out/fucking with one of us and the other two not know.” I second that. I have a younger brother, and he is usually among the first to hear about my latest hook up and vice-versa.

  • Yeah, the "forbidding/strict" category can actually encompass a few different attitudes. It could be a dad who was a pure as the driven snow angel who expects the same behavior from his son. As was indicated, it could be a hypocritical dad who orders his son to do as he says, not as he did. It could even be a dad who actually does not care what his son does, or even wants his son to have fun, but believes in order to be a responsible parent he has to lay down the law.

  • . . . alcohol, sex, etc.? In my experience, dads come in 5 types- -forbidding/strict ['Don't do drugs. Don't have sex.'] -wink, wink ["I better not catch you drinking or having sex."] -encouraging ["Good on ya, but I better not catch you drinking or having sex in my house."] -enabling ['Good on ya, and, for your safety, I want you to drink and have sex in my house.'] -providing: the kind of dad one may hear or read a few stories about near the beginning of every football season because he got ca…
