Re: Linkin Park
PostI really love old Linkin Park. Hybrid Theory and Meteora are a million times better than Minutes to Midnight. It's not a really bad album though, it still has some great songs, but overall it just doesn't match up to the same standard. Maybe this new album will, maybe it wont, but either way I'll still love their old stuff. Fav album - Meteora Fav Songs - Bleed It Out and Breaking the Habit

Re: Kill Hannah
PostI saw them live during the summer, supporting Smashing Pumpkins, and had never heard of them before that, but was quite impressed with them on the night and bought their latest album there and then. I honestly haven't listened to it a lot since then, but that's probably partly because I haven't had an mp3 player of any sort since then anyway. But yeah, they're pretty good.

Quote from Alucard 117: “I don't like the idea of America just reusing what Britain's already done, but sometimes there have to be a few tweaks for cultural differences. I don't think they should be completely modified, but sometimes tweaks are needed.” Thing is, Spaced was a show based entirely around British culture and cultural and pop references of the 90s, and they tried to re-make it almost word for word ten years later in America. That concept makes no sense whatsoever.

Quote from Journal: “1, 2, 6, 5, 4, 3. ... No but seriously I go in order from 1 - 6. It's best if you haven't seen "A New Hope"+ cause you know then it's just like, SPOILER ALERT(for the one person in the world that have not seen Star Wars) Anakin is Darth Vader and Obi Wan is Ben etc.” That one person being the OP who's already said he hasn't seen Star Wars?

Quote from Esmo: “Whu-isjd...fnngg... EERfffng/// glaAARbB# BBBNNNG BBBNNNB BBBBNSBnnNNNBGJGj;''' If they were redone today, all that you would get is the slightly sickly gloss that the prequels carry to their detriment. --- Basically, I think it's far better to watch the originals and then the prequels, seeing as that's the order they were released (which is always far more interesting than chronology in any series). The Emperor, for instance, is treated as a mysterious character to excellent e…

Quote from JohnDoe: “Today this guy in Lit/Writ was holding a ruler and was sprinting around like in MW2 XD” This reminded me of paintball for some reason. I get really into things when I'm playing paintball, but I dunno if that's the influence of video games, or just my love of Spaced [ame='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1yuhBtdHL0']YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.[/ame]

Re: PC Characters
PostQuote from JohnDoe: “oh haha the only star wars gaem I have that has kyle in it is Jedi Outcast II on the PC :p” See, I'm old enough that I remember having the demo of the original Dark Forces game before the full game was released in '95 But back then it was an FPS, didn't have proper Kyle looking as we know him now for a few years

Re: PC Characters
PostQuote from slaytanist: “you forgot: DOOM guy, Quake guy, Quake 24 guy (forgot name), Material Defender (descent), and the MDK guy, oh and MC (master chief)” 1. I didn't forget Doomguy 2. I was never really a Quake player 3. I don't know or care what else you said 4. These are characters from my favourite PC games growing up, not yours, so it really doesn't matter who you think I forgot, because I didn't forget them, they just weren't in my favourite games. I dunno if you didn't read it or you're…

Quote from Dexter.: “We are also animals, I get your point and support it, eat what you hunt, and not what machines kill, here it's not like that just yet, animals get a lot of freedom before being killed, they get real grass, real land, they aren't closed in a box their whole lives, which is good, but not possible in big urban areas, here it's really rural.” They live in fields here too, we don't keep them in boxes, but I still wouldn't go into the field with an axe and start chopping at a cow.…

Quote from Nessax: “I presonaly don't listen to that type of music but back when I was in school I know some girls that listened to it and they were into metal. The name actually makes me feel sick! I don't know why gives me the gawks. :nono:” The name makes you feel sick? But it's a type of knot: 061fe5a63fec745a And yeah, I consider Slipknot metal. They're a lot more metal-like than half the stuff people class as "metal" these days.
