Two things I constantly go on about: Spot reduction. Working one area of the body hard won't burn off more fat in that area. Also, sit-ups. They work primarly the Iliopsoas muscle responsible for hipflexation, not the rectus abdominals that pull the ribcage in towards the hips. If you want to build up your abs, there are all types of crunches you can do to work the abdominal muscles and obliques. Instead of doing the sit-ups, as someone else suggested go for a run for about 30 minutes a day. You…

If you just want to look skinny/athletic, exercise for at least 30 minutes 4-5 times a week, doing running, cycling, sports, swimming or whatever gets your heart rate going. Eat 6 small meals a day, around 350 calories per meal (on average, you can eat 500 one meal and 200 the next) and eat healthy, fish, vedge, lean meats, wholemeal pasta or brown rice, small amounts of fruits things like that. You'll shed the bodyfat as the weeks go on if you stick to te diet and exercise. When you say muscula…

I don't take any recreational drugs now. I still periodically take Performance Enhancing Drugs if they count. My thoughts are: They're certainly not for everyone and shouldn't be abused or messed with if you don't know what your doing, but if someone chooses to use, I think it should be OK for them to do so under a doctor's supervision. PED are legal to posses but illegal to sell.. that is the pharma grade gear, if you're caught with underground lab gear or steroids you've made yourself, you'll …

I've a few friends who are ex-marines, they tell me when they were in service the job was worth it, around £125,000 per year.. now it's been cut to £75,000 a year. They all say the risks aren't worth it for the pay anymore. They've all been to Iraq and Afghanistan, and that these days you'll see combat for sure (one of them got his arms and leg blown off). I'd do it if the pay was right, or I'd become some kind mercenary out there, which pays a lot more than working for the military.

Quote from musclemuse: “I do, heavily, and feel no need to be ashamed to be honest.” There certainly isn't any need to be ashamed. As long as you don't around intentionally blowing smoke people's faces, or something.

Is it just games/Blue-rays it's not reading or DVDs and CDs and PS1 games too that aren't working? Well if you don't have any warrenty, getting consoles fixed is expensive, I had pay £70 to fix my original Xbox.. about the same as the console cost.

I've had the RROD on my 360 and the Fatal Disc-read error fault on my Wii, but never any problems with my PS3. I did have a few problems reading discs when I installed an update, but it seemed to fix itself after a while. If it doesn't read anything and you still have some warrenty left, then just ask for another one.. I did the same with my Wii and 360.

I don't know if you do every weight training exercise on that list everyday, but working your legs, back, shoulders, biceps, triceps, chest, and traps every day can only lead to overtraining and muscular breakdown. Unless you aren't really training heavy or for more than a couple sets, then that's fine doing those for aerobic purposes rather than stimulating hypertrophy.

  • Quote from Bear: “if u lose weight ur not making muscle” You can lose fat and gain muscle simultaneously. The myth that bodybuilding is all about getting as big as possible, is why there's so many fatties in the weight section at the gyms.

  • Well anything can become a habit wether it's addictive or not, and I've heard heavy prolonged use can lead to hypogonadism and other chemical and hormonal inbalances, but one in a while isn't going to kill you. I say fuck it, you're only young once. If you really want to try it, try it. Just be sensible with it, and if you think you won't be able to handle it, then do the sensible thing and stop using it.

I loved PaRappa the Rapper, Klonoa, Alundra, Grandia, Tombi (or Tomba if you're American), Soul Blade, Armored Core, Ehrgeiz, Heart of Darkness, Tomb Raiders, Final Fantasies, Broken Swords.. Come to think of it, the Playstation has some of my favorite games of all time. I used to collect PS1 games, I still have nearly 2,000, most of them are Japanese, though.. no one would have heard of them.

N3 Ninety Nine Nights - This game is just insane, 10 times more fun than Dynasty Warriors (a series I've come to dislike). Yeah, it's shallow. Yeah, it's just mindless mass-voilence. That's why I love it. It got such bad reviews, though. Armored Core 4 - I've always loved the series, and I love how they made things so fast and fluid in 4. Enchanted Arms - The gameplay wasn't great I guess, but it's one of those rare games that's worth playing just for the story, especially for the happy ending. …

  • I've watched it tons of times, I've also read the original book by Nick Hornby, which has a slighty different story and goes much more in-depth into each character.. Marcus and Will. I recommend reading the book if you loved the film. The film is great, though, Marcus and Will are great characters that I'm sure a lot of people can relate to or understand, and the soundtrack by Badly Drawn Boy fits the film perfectly.
