I bought a treadmill last week, but I'm just wondering how far I'd need to walk/jog/run to lose weight. So far I've been walking for like 20 minutes and 4 minutes of running, which usually totals about 1.2 miles. I know it's not a lot but I'm not used to exercising yet and if I do too much it'll just make my legs ache. So how far would I have to run/walk or for how long would I have to use the treadmill a day to lose weight? Oh, and I've been eating less and what I do eat is usually healthy.
