It doesn't bother me. I smoke occasionally and when I say that I mean that when I am drunk I will share cigarettes with my girlfriend/brother/friends. It can enhance a situation and I do think that it is aesthetically pleasing but not something I do constantly. My girlfriend is a pretty big smoker but she has perfect white teeth.

I'm a vegetarian and I have been for a few years now. I couldn't go back to eating meat. It doesn't interest me to put that in my body. Also, the way the majority of the meat in the the USA (where I live so of most relevance to me) is absolutely revolting.

Smoking does do damage to your lungs. However, I know many smokers (of weed & cigarettes) that are exceptional athletes. It's all relative. However, Sativa (as opposed to Indica) doesn't tend to make one lazy but instead gives an energy boost! So saying all weed makes one lazy is a silly thing as their are different types. That being said, Sativa is where it's at.

I don't think you should call a helpline as their advice is probably generic and impersonal. You should reevaluate your life and think about all the things that make the world good. I understand that you're not asking for advice but I want to you to feel better & I think that might help. Also, you should be able to talk about these things with your girlfriend in an open and honest way. It's not ok if she gets upset about it as they are detrimental to your health.

It doesn't seem raging and I think it's a healthy conversation for this thread as two sides of veganism are being represented here. Since this is a solid way to lose weight (which is the idea of this thread) I feel like it is probably better to hear two sides of the story. For real? I live in Arizona and there are many Mexican immigrants here and they deserve to be. I can't believe you don't understand why they try so hard to come here. The answer to that question is that their lives back in Mexico are awful and they are hard and they are willing to risk everything to change that. This is a country of immigrants and the European men and women that first came over were thieves that started this country off on the wrong Puritanical foot.
