Like Chloe said, I think they are just looking out for you..they don't want you to get involved with whatever they do. But if you feel more comfortable with them, then stay. Just be careful, they might be able to manipulate you to do stuff you didn't want to do. If they are shutting you out of their lives, then they aren't true friends, it shouldn't be that easy for them to just leave like that.
