  • Quote from Journal: “I sincerely hope you're joking.” Why not? Milk (especially chocolate milk) has carbs and protein and if you're someone that would rather drink than eat after a workout, it's perfect. You could eat a lot more than just fruit - maybe a peanut butter & banana sandwich or PB, apple slices, and rice cakes. You can eat something a little more substantial, I wouldn't restrict myself to fruit.

  • You're not being unreasonable, it just may seem a little unreasonable to him because he's so much older than you and more likely to be thinking about that kind of stuff. If it's moving too fast you need to tell him - sit down and explain that it's making you uncomfortable - make sure he knows you're serious. Meeting his family and friends isn't a huge deal, and if you can get past that step, it might actually be fun. But if you both have different goals for the relationship it's going to be incr…

Very nice! I like all of them but for some reason I love the eyebrows on the dude. I don't know why, they just look... intense! I don't know if you're looking for criticism but I think they'd look even more striking if added more shadow - what you have is fantastic but just darker darks and stuff like that. It could just be the pencils, or the paper, or the fact that cameras aren't always good at photographing artwork, though! They're great anyway.

When you're in high school and you build up that reputation of being active and involved, it's kind of hard to break. If all this is started happening after you turned 18, I'm assuming it's because you graduated and found you have a lot more freedom than you did in high school. Even rebellious kids sometimes get "worse" when they move out and go to university and find there's no one there to tell them what to do. As long as you're being safe there's nothing wrong with it. Enjoy your freedom.

  • Your Thoughts Are Wild No one understands how that brain of yours works, including you! You have a unique thought process, and it results in some pretty crazy ideas. You don't try to limit your thoughts. When you brainstorm, the sky's the limit. You are an uninhibited thinker and dreamer. Your ideas are extremely innovative.

  • I don't think you can make yourself want friends. But since you're confused, just start with trying to talk to and socialize with people a little bit, and then decide if you're comfortable with developing friendships. Trust can come later, over time.

  • A junior is grade 11, right? Don't stress about it yet. I never decided until March or April of my grade 12 year (3 months before I graduated). Just consider your interests, what you might want to do, investigate what that requires, check out some colleges - how far away from home would you want to be?, etc. Some colleges/universities have "experience" days or whatever for high school students to come see what it's all about. There's lots to think about but you have plenty of time to decide!

  • Quote from hheartstrongg: “nipple” I've only ever known 2 people that have had that done, wouldn't it hurt?!?! :o I just have two - one in each ear. And I don't even use them very often.

  • I agree - you're young and it happens to a lot of people. You're not being a dick; I think it's worse to let the relationships drag on. It'll probably change when you get older, but if you want to do something about it now, you could always try to get to know the girl a little more before you make your relationship official, and think about what it would be like to be in a relationship with her. See the flaws ahead of time. The boredom could be because you may be "settling" after the chase is ov…

  • Penne and sauteed vegetables, baked with cheese and garlic. It was so good I just ate a second supper, haha.

  • Quote from woodspirit: “ i wouldnt cry over something so insignificant” Then why are you so against it? I'm with everyone else - I don't see why it's such a big deal. I wouldn't say anyone is picking on you - you were the one that posted this with the obvious intent of pissing people off. And almost everything you've mentioned has it's own topic has been debated before.

  • Chris, do you know what the law states for something to be considered a sport? And what precautions do you think would be put in place to prevent injury? Is it actually not legally considered a sport right now? I know there's probably a million different definitions of what a sport is so it really depends on which people think is the most 'right'. It depends on if things like dance, figure skating, etc., are sports too - some think they're more of an art form and aren't as "sportsy" because they…

  • As far as I know the only way you can know for sure is to go to a doctor if you're suspicious about it and get tested. Have you reacted to it before? If you haven't (or haven't been exposed to it), just try some out beforehand and see if anything happens. Like a little pre-run. It might irritate you a little even if you aren't allergic, I'd think you'd really only need to worry if you have a bad reaction. If you do, then see a doctor.

I really like the blonde, but light brown would look good too. I'm personally not a huge black fan because, as has been mentioned, it can be done wrong and look bad, sometimes if it's too black it looks greasy. I know it's not what you listed but I think a dark brown would look really good as well. I'm sorry this doesn't really answer your question. I think you could pull off anything.

  • Yelled at, if anything. Usually just knowing my parents were mad was enough for me - "I'm disappointed" isn't something I like to hear and I'd feel guilty and awful and that's discipline enough. I didn't give my parents a lot of reason for discipline in the first place though, haha.

One thing I've noticed is that people who think no one likes them tend to not do anything to change that. They just accept it and don't really try to get people to like them. Just keep at it. I'm sure you have like-able qualities and different people prefer different things.

If you're just starting high school there may be a few people in the same boat as you. Just think of it as a chance for a fresh start, try to make some friends, and make the best of your last few years of schooling, work hard, and once you graduate you'll be able to do whatever you want with your life - perhaps move back to Greece. Moving is always hectic and a big adjustment to make. If you think things are moving slow, do your best to help out your parents where you can and just get your room …

  • I've heard that the inside of a banana peel or radishes can help prevent discoloration, but I'm not sure if you have to do it RIGHT when you're hurt or not. You could also try an ice pack or cold cloth to reduce swelling. I'm with dusk, though. Wear 'em with pride. Bruises are tough.

  • You Are a Genius You tend to let others have their way. You know that it's best not to put up a fight. In the end, you get what you want anyway. You are believe in patience and kindness. You are talented at sizing people up. You know what each person needs or wants from you. You always have the advantage, but you don't always use it. Your intuition is a double edged sword.

It really depends on how important money is to you. Some things that allow more creativity are hit-and-miss when it comes to pay (something like journalism), while as a lawyer you'd have a little more of a guarantee. I'm not sure how it works there, but I know in some places here you have to take a couple years of university or get a degree before you can actually go into law school. You could take some political or journalism classes, see what you like, and go on to study law if you still want …
