Re: acne problem...
PostIf you have tried lots of over the counter remedies then I would suggest you see your GP. They will be able to prescribe you with anti-biotics and the chances are high that they will significantly reduce your acne.

I like how this is a debate on how to debate :p Anyway I agree, I think it adds more to the debate if somebody writes their reasoning. It's unloikely that they had the exact same views and points as the person they're agreeing to, and if they did then they can always add something to move on the debate. If everyone just wrote I agree/disagree the debate wouldn't get anywhere!

PostQuote from DamnImGood: “So now every creature that has a shell is a turtle?” Good point, if that's right I have turtles in my garden in the form of snails :p Technically... weren't turtles around duing the times of the dinosaurs (or something of the like)?

Re: Parents
PostOkay, firstly as you live in the UK I highly doubt that your school had the right to call your parents. My reasoning for this is that I've been told (by my school nurse) that the school is only able to break your privacy if they believe you are a serious danger to yourself or others. Therefore that possibility is out of the window. My second thought was that maybe they'd caught you doing something against the school's rules but you've confirmed that this negative too. Unfortunately it is unlikel…

I can be quite shy and unfortunately for me, most people I'm attracted to are simply not going to be attracted on me because they probably won't be gay. I would probably try and make small talk, smile a lot and maybe flirt subtely but to be prefectly honest I've never really done it so I don't really know.

Re: Parents
PostIn reference to your research, which country do you live in? I'm sorry to hear about your family situation. Perhaps if you aren't able to talk to somebody within your family you may have a friend or a member of a friend's family who you can talk about this to? They might be willing to talk to your mother with you. It doesn't look like you feel like this, but don't allow them to make you feel bad for who you are. May I also ask how old you are?

Re: Parents
PostFirstly I don't think your school has the right to have done that. When you say they called your mum and told her, what is it that they told her? Had you been caught doing somethingor the like? Anyway, it is unlikely for parents to stop loving their children because they find out that they're gay or bi. Give her some time and then try and talk to her about it. Do you have any other family members who may be a bit more sympathetic to you about it? If so I would suggest you talk to them about it a…

Re: seven pounds
PostI've seen the trailer for it in the cinema, it looks like a good film. I haven't seen it though so I wouldn't be able to answer your question.

If I'm going clothes shopping I usually wait until I've saved around £100. If it's shopping for anything else anything between £10-£30. But I'm starting driving lessons soon... so I won't have any money to go shopping :p

Re: hold hands
PostI wouldn't with my 21 and 20 year old sisters but I would my 4 year old brother. Then again it is unlikely I'm going to take my little brother shopping ... it's more likely I'll go with my sisters.

In the UK the age is 18 and where I live they are very strict on it. Most shops opperate a "look under 21, ask for ID" and the shop down the road from me even has a "look under 25, as for ID". My friend who works at an off-license was told that if they doubted at anypoint that the person was under 21 then they should ask for ID. Clubs in my town will also (usually) only accept drivers licenses, passports or ID that has the PASS logo on and they're very strict on No ID No Entry.
