I can't imagine they're much fun either, but fortunately I shall never be needing to even think about having them. However, from a female point of view I can perhaps understand why some women feel so insecure about their figure that they feel compelled to resorting to cosmetic surgery, but sadly some go way over the top and end up looking quite silly and totally out of proportion.

Comfort depends a lot on each individual shoe. You CAN get heels that are VERY comfortable, but those would also probably not be too high either.
