Can't really say i'm still in that stage, but keeping myself distracted seems to help a lot. Like going out with friends, it gets my mind off things I don't want to think about lol. I also think about the good things we had and not the bad things that happened which helps a little.

I think that she likes you, but it might be a little to soon for her since the breakup. When it comes to the date I think you should lean in a bit, and if she leans in then you should kiss her. If not just back off or kiss her on the cheek, she doesn't seem to mind the cuddling, and hand holding so thats good. Maybe she just needs a little more time, after all it hasn't been very long. Im kind of on the fence about it, because you know you can trust your best friend better than any other random guy. Although if thing's dont work you lose your relationship and sometimes friendship. Plus i'm pretty sure if you stay good friends it would be somewhat awkward between the two of you. So I guess it could go both ways but its pretty risky.

Not everyone your going to meet is going to have an instantaneous spark with you. During the first few weeks it's fairly awkward. Maybe if you got to know some of these girls and become comfortable being around eachother, there could be some chemistry. I know for me when I just meet someone that I generally like I might be shy for a while, but yeah it is hard to find that person that you just click with. Don't give up though, keep looking and you'll meet the right person.

Thanks guys, as for the breakup its kind of complicated but I was the "dumpee". On the up side I txted my friend, she called me and we made plans. So tomorow shouldn't be as excruciating. Plus second semester starts January 5th so that'll be a bit better aswell. As for completly getting over this person I guess it's going to take more time. How in-convenient for me.
