Errr. Talk to him in person about it. If you make the first move, and he likes you like it sounds like he does, then he will say yes. If you're asking someone out for the first time, don't do it through technology. The one exception are phones. Asking someone out through Facebook/Myspace, or AIM/MSN, or through a text message, makes it look like you aren't confident. And most guys don't like girls that aren't confident with themselves.
