I think I see where you are coming from. One of my mates comes from a rich family. His parents know he does weed, smokes and drinks. But his parents choose to ignore it because they just like to think they have a perfect little family. I'm guessing your parents are trying to ignore it, they can't accept the fact their child is involved/was involved with drugs.
