Hey dudes and gals, hope all is well. So I havent been on here in a while and I just stopped by because I seem to have run in to a small problem in life. I should be a perfectly happy 20 year old guy as I am going to college and I dont really have any reason to be down at this moment. However, as of late I have been pretty upset and at the risk of sounding pretentious and spoiled I was just hoping for a little advice here. I have been really hung up on getting a job. It is very tough in this eco…

Re: Creamfields
PostOh.....my.....gawd. I want to fly there now. And Good Line-up, GREAT LINE UP!!!! I mean jeez, I would kill to see any one of those people by themselves let alone all together (though I did see Tiesto two months ago). I was looking through the guys on top, and I was trying to find one I didnt know. Looks like the Armada crew is not showing up (IE Armin, Markus, etc.), but top notch concert none the less. Too bad im in the US, where no one appreciates these kinds of concerts of epic proportions. M…

Break up. Nearly every couple did so from my high school, and many of the people have moved on, but still maintain a great friendship with their former boyfriends/girlfriends. They did this because they couldnt come home very often. In addition, these were couples who have dated since freshman year and were really close. However, I really think that if you stayed together, you would not cheat. Everyone says that, but in the moment before it happens, people who really love another person would st…

Why will they be at college? Because the people at college likely dont run in your circles, and there is a huge new and diverse population and I feel like the people at college are so much more interesting. I would say wait, because you might start a relationship which is only ruined by being far apart. College is amazing, put yourself out there, and go have fun! You won't regret it and i know you will find someone!

Quote from Puddle-Jumper: “Don't live with your friends, it rarely lives up to your expectations... its not like you won't be friends with them anymore... Ive lived with random people in uni for the past 2 years running and I loved them for the first year and hated them in the second year it made for some very interesting stories and I met loads of people too! Its not like you won't ever see your friends or anything, just try and stay near to them and don't be worried about study! University is …

Quote from Stjowa: “Its good if you are trying to look gay. Honestly who cares what they think. Girls look better than guys. They have better fashion and everything. So them calling you a girl is a good thing. They are saying hey look that kid is a girl (has good fashion). Just think of it that way. It is really a compliment” [Off Topic] You sir have never seen a well kept gentleman in a fine fitting tuxedo. I am not gay, but a guy who can pull that off will turn just as many heads and a good lo…

Quote from stephaknee: “would you be able to study with your friends?” Yeah, that is the thing, they all understand that there is a school element too, so they also take time out to study and do their work whereas many of the people there do not. So it IS advantageous in that aspect overall. I also decided to try to push it with my dad, we will see what happens. Wish me luck!

Well, my question was more should I ask for a "family loan" and see if they will pay the 1600 dollar difference. I think they would like to see me with my friends, I am just unsure whether or not they are willing to spend the money. I know what is best (I think, there is an arrogant statement), i just dont know if I should push it. It isn't like I run the risk of not going to school, it is just where I live.

Help Me out Here
PostSo I am stuck between a rock and hard place right now. I have worked hard and my college education is paid for minus 1000 dollars (13000 total, 12000 paid for by my own hand). However, I live in CA so another 2000 dollars which the state gave to me is up in the air as the budget here is screwed up. I really want to live with my friends next year, but my parents saw that I might loose 2000 bucks and they want me to move into a cheaper room (saves about 800 dollars per semester) which would take m…
