Just recently, I went to the doctor and they told me that I had a defficiency of iron in my blood. That ment that my blood was too light and that it could cause serious problems if it got too low. I was so low, that they couldn't take blood from my upper arm, they had to take it from the back of my hand with a special needle. I'm so glad that they found this in time. I really don't want to get seriously sick or anything So, now I'm on iron pills for it and just wondering, since they said this wa…

Race
PostI was just wondering what everyone thinks of this. People say that the world is getting better about accepting everyone as they are, but I don't. We teenagers have a more accepting veiw, for the most part. We are all part of the same world- we are all humans no matter race, gender, culture, ethnicity or any of that. So, I was just wondering why many people make such a fuss about it.

I agree with sweet treat. If you are sure that this is the guy for you, go for it. Don't let anyone interfere. It's your life, not theirs, so don't pay them no mind. And you wouldn't have to give up your career just to get married. My aunt got married at age 21 while she was in college working towards getting a degree for opening her own bussiness. She now has a thriving store, a good marriage, and two children. She's done great. You will too.

We are the next generation. One day, it will fall to us to maintain peace in the world. And it will be harder than ever before. And sites like this will help when that time comes, because it lets teens from different races, countries, religions and things become friends and forget about the trivial matters to focus on the one thing we have in common. We are people and we are teens. No matter where we are, we do have some of the same problems. This will help bridge the gaps in the future.

Re: Dieting?
PostThis is a great technique to use. I actually use it myself, and I've turned some of my friends to it instead of dieting. It is slow, though. But I've got the patience for it. So far, in two years, I've lost around 14 or so pounds. It does work, if it is slow.

My parents happen to not like either my best friend or my boy friend. My best friend is gothic, and she introduced me to my present boy friend, who's gothic and a different race. I really like my friend and boyfriend, but my parents want me to quite seeing both of them. I've tried talking, but it dosen't help that much. Any advice? Anyone in a similar situation?
