PostGood luck with the new plan, but 15 lbs of lean mass in a year isn't bad at all. I wouldn't count on gaining 25+ lbs due to it being too physically demanding for the body.

PostPlease don't say it's impossible to gain weight, because that's being ignorant. Yes, you may be active, but that means you're going to have to accomodate your diet first and foremost. Also, don't throw the 'I eat everything in sight' ectomorph bullshit at anyone. Start hitting the weights, with either a split or an upper/lower body regime in mind. Titus speaks the troof. You can't spot train any pesky amounts of fat centered in a particular area. Instead, you would need to reduce your overall body fat levels. I wouldn't suggest losing weight. Reason being, you're small. You want clear-cut, defined-as-shit muscles, but losing weight will only result in you looking like a walking corpse. Protip - 10g's of BCAA's stacked with fasted cardio = win when cutting weight. Titus pretty much covered it. Don't go to the gym and toy around with the weights. Go there with a purpose and accomplish something. You need a solid split to have a general idea of the excercises you'll be doing (which Mr. Pullo offered).
