Quote from kopite: “oh man im not trying to argue with you, im just trying to have an intelligent debate. i dont remember god wanting all creatures to be vegetarians. i never heard of that one. i know why the jews were not allowed to eat pork but i thought everything else was ok?” Regardless of what you call it, my point was half of what you said didn't relate to any of my claims. I don't care about who wrote the bible or what they did or didn't know. Many Christians claim Genesis 1:29?30 (NKJV)…

Quote from kopite: “yes they were around quite a bit before man set foot on earth, no argues with that. if man existed at the same time as dinosaurs, then humanity would have been wiped out as quick as they came. i refer back to my earlier post. the bible was written by man. man cant understand everything. how would they begin to understand crazy monsters that existed millions of years ago. god had no reason to include dinosaurs in the bible. it was for the people at that time to live good lives…

I'm not a paleontologist, but I believe the dinosaurs were around quite a bit before humanity, and if they coexisted wouldn't the meteor strike that wiped out the dinosaurs kill humans as well? Should, for some reason, God choose to place humans on the planet after the dinosaurs got wiped out, I think in Genesis it states that God originally intended for everyone to be a vegetarian. Some dinosaurs were carnivores and omnivores. In short, less confusing terms: Humans with dinosaurs? Meteor that k…

Quote from Frosty: “>Implying their appointment by the government doesn't lead to political influence anyway >Implying you can eliminate political influence while the laws they interpret are created by the government And as an anarcho-capitalist, I see this as a bit of a non-issue. It's like asking me how business owners should go about hiring a manager.” I never said it was possible to remove all political influence. I said I prefer the current manner over trivial left-right lunacy.

Election of Judges
PostDo you believe judges should be elected to their positions? Let's say, for the sake of simplicity, all courts. Municipal to Supreme. To be very terse, I'm against the adoption of an election system. Courts can't afford to be ruled by populism and left/right politics.

Quote from amando96: “Sorry not exactly the topic, but Would a cure for aids be free? I think if there was one(if there isn't yet) it would be reserved to "the elite" government related people, important people. it wouldn't get to 3rd world countries.” Imagine the uproar across the world if the government was keeping an AIDs cure for the rich and elite. That wouldn't happen.

Quote from xNerRadx: “But I do believe in signs. And usually I follow them if I notice them. And as for black magic, I don't believe in any kind of magic. But I do believe in the paranormal. You know, like the ghosts and psychics. I myself used to have precognitions when I was younger. Then I told my mom, she told me I was crazy, and then I just stopped having them lol.” Quote from xNerRadx: “I can't think of a personal one off the top of my head, but yesterday I was watching the Wendell William…

Re: Immigrants
PostTo be blunt, you sound spoiled. What's the closest thing to their condition you've experience, dare I ask?

Re: Immigrants
PostBut immigrants come here for the same reason, shouldn't they stay where they're from and fix their own country?

Quote from xNerRadx: “Alright that's nice. But my point still stands. People believe in God, so I see nothing wrong with believing in signs. Hell, Christians even believe in signs from God. You seem to really be on my dick today. But I'm flattered. Thanks:)” He's a dick because he asked you if you believe something, and then told you he was an Atheist when you told him to shut up if he was a Christian. 10/10, truly. I wish I could find put together ridiculous statements based on coincidences bel…

Re: Immigrants
PostQuote from xNerRadx: “The fact of the matter is: if you're an ILLEGAL immigrant, you shouldn't be here. And the fact that their trying to put their input into our law decisions just really irritates me. If they don't like the quality of their life in Mexico, that's not the U.S. problem. It's THEIR problem so THEY need to go talk to THEIR president.” So you're completely against immigration? You might say you're not, but that's the same reason people immigrate legally, too. They want to live some…

Quote from Sash: “Correction: China is not under the threat of an immediate Japanese invasion or an attack. The Chinese are no Americans, they have a cultural maturity to understand that making short term strategic moves at the cost of long term is usually fatal. Hence, the PRC likes to keep North Korea to act as a buffer zone between itself and the Japanese mainland.” Point well made, my friend.
