  • Quote from sharkie13: “I've gotten "be less clingy", but "coming on too strong" is something that nobody's told me when i explain the situation. And thinking about it you might be right; can you elaborate on that a bit?” Well clingy is more of a term used for a partner who likes to be with their other half constantly. My opinion from what you've told me is you come off too strong to the other girl. This could make her act quite a few different ways. If she's a shy girl then they tend to steer cl…

  • Well I haven't met you, but I doubt it's your personality. To what you said, it just sounds like you come off too strong. Just keep things simple and leave her guessing.

  • Leave your ex as that - just your ex. You have a choice here, either risk your new relationship by letting your smothering ex take over, or end it completley with your ex by telling her it's either friendship or nothing. If you don't tell her straight it's never going to end! ---------- Post added at 04:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:45 PM ---------- Oh and to get your girlfriend to forgive you -- i'd show her this post you've written. I think she'd appreciate it.

  • It means he likes talking to you. Don't take it as anything more than just that. Wait for him to say anything more unless you want to risk ruining your friendship.

  • Not trying to sound conceited, but i always get told i'm a good looking girl or whatever.. but for some reason - the only guys i'm ever interested in are.. well average looking... not hot.. not cute... just... normal lol? The thing is, I'll go out with them a few days and then go "off" them because I worry about what other people think and I start to pick faults with the guy that i'm with and then end up dumping them within a week... I had 1 good looking boyfriend before..and he was boring as SH…

  • Lmao at the end of the day "clown" you sound like a retarted down syndrome kid that lashes out on other people because he got abused by his dad when he was younger - either that, or your just a real nut-job. As for these 3 "girls" I doubt they even care about you. If they liked you - they wouldn't flirt with the other guy. They obviously are since you hit him for talking to them. Get over yourself. I'm surprised they still even talk to you after that. Maybe you need to learn a little word call r…

Okay so I'm a bit confused with the whole "taxing" thing... I had a part time job at Nike at 16 and made approx £230 a month and my tax code was 603L1 and I didn't have ANYTHING deducted from my wage. Now I'm 17 and I'm in an Apprenticeship, which classes as a full time job. I'll be making £95 a week, but I get paid monthly so it comes to about £380 I think... so will I get taxed on that? (I haven't been paid yet so I'm not sure what to expect) Also, will I get NI INS taxed - or what other taxes…

  • An ideal job is something you enjoy doing. You could be getting paid £350 a week for a job you destest, whereas you could be getting paid about £250 a week doing something you love. I know which one I'd prefer. Enjoying your job is the hardest part about starting a career. Because to enjoy your career, you have to be a 100% sure it's what you want to do. Sat doing a 9-5 job that you don't like, isn't an ideal career. Of course there is always going to be something you have to do in your job that…

Yeah I know, I used to work at Nike part time. I hated every second of it.

Okay so I'm doing an apprenticeship for the NHS where I get £95 a week. I work 4 days full time, and then 1 day a week I go to college to get my NVQ level 2 in Business and Admin - However I'm getting paid £95 a week when... Other people in my office were on full wage AND doing there NVQ WITHIN the hospital.... So I'm losing out on over... £250 a week because my NVQ is with a college? WHAT? Lol...

  • Okay I've been there and done all of this so here's my advice. First of all, DON'T take a "gap year." They are pointless and you will might feel awkward around your other class mates because you'll be a year older than them. It's also "dragging" out your school time. (You'll be in college until your about 20) Second of all, High school is pretty much nothing like College, well mine wasn't anyway. You don't get treated like a child anymore which means you can pretty much do what you like. However…
