  • Carrot juice, because I have enough supplies do make it myself. Apple juice is good too, but I can only make it during the autumn months.

  • I exercise 5 days a week (2x2h and 3x30min), but that's definitely not enough (I think you might agree). I used to do weight training, but since I stopped going to the gym I was unable to start doing it again due to being too busy with various assignments and projects. And while It's still winter I'm unable to use my forest jogging route.

I've been painting/drawing for at least 6 years. I finished my studies in May, 2009. I'm familiar with most tradition methods - drawing with graphite pencils and shading; using both oil and soft pastels, painting with gouache, using other materials like coal/glass etc; making ceramics. Since September 2009 I've been practicing with digital tablet and various software.

  • [I know I might sounds like an asshole.] During the 2009 I've changed. I don't join in celebrations any more, I don't follow traditions. It's not some sort of rebellion against the conservative model of the world, I've never been like that. Most people I know think tradition is important to maintain identity and to hand over cultural legacy to the next generations; but for me tradition seems to serve no purpose on itself. It's like a placeholder for some sort of ancient need to be part of a grou…

[Seems like my previous thread was lost during the time when TH was down] Background: I'm 17. I've been playing videogames for at least 6.5 years. Although they took much of my time, I've never been addicted to them. I'm PC-only gamer; haven't played any MMOs. Situation: This happened in about 1-2 weeks during the November. As I remember, I was very busy then, had about 3 sleepless nights a week, ingested about 550mg caffeine per 24h. I wouldn't say it was something extreme, just a stressful tim…

  • I've been close several times - I had everything prepared, but then, with rope and tools in my hands I sit down and rethought everything - "not this time".

  • I had similar situation yesterday. After totally sleepless night, some parts of my brains just shut down while I was still awake (it was one of those weird days). It continued for about 80 minutes, after that everything returned to normal. Once when was awake for 48 hours my vision became slightly pink/red. I don't recommend doing this before exams, tired brain can sometimes play nasty tricks on you. But I guess this night will be another one, I really have no choice. One sleepless night for eve…

  • I'm the only one who can give my life a meaning... but with myself dead, there is no need for meaning. It's not about my emotions, It's about rational analysis. I realize I'm even not the one who owns my life. My existence is required by others. It's like a prison I can't escape because of my own sense of responsibility. It might destroy the lives of my relatives, of some of my friends. It's a small town and It's impossible to hide something like this. I don't know how strong are their abilities…

I eat the same food as everyone else... just without meat. So, if my family eats a steak with fried/baked potatoes, I eat just potatoes etc. I really don't have time and resources to make some special vegetarian stuff for me. At restaurants the situation is more difficult... if they don't have anything, I don't eat at all. I can easily go one day without eating. While at home I usually just put random vegetables together and make salads. Or eat them raw. Food value doesn't really depend on how I…

Arma 2 is better in all aspects of actual gameplay, but It's also buggy as hell. It actually shines on multiplayer and offers some nice mission & mapmaking tools; while SP is... buggy. The DR doesn't excel at anything - It all has been done before - and better.

Looks like you haven't played a real RPG (like Fallout 1 & 2, Planescape: Torment etc.) Diablo was hack&slash. Many action-rpgs have similar qualities, but both genres shouldn't be confused by any means. There's a huge difference. RPG is a true single-player experience. The multiplayer part of it can utilize only one aspect of the game: combat. And combat often is pretty weak compared to the rest of the content. DA:O combat relies on active-pause and group tactics - it's useless for multiplayer.

Practice makes perfect. If you want to win, get that down to the reflex level. It's just the same as with other stuff - during the beginning of learning you use your logic, learn some basic strategies, plan ahead. Then get to the trial and error and repeat for some time - the brain will get those best moves, those strategies to the subconscious mind - when it's done you need no longer to worry about the game. Of course, after some time those skills get forgotten, but it's always easier to resume…

Both have specific purposes: tea is good for consuming great amounts of H2O when dehydrated and coffee is the one of the best ways to ingest caffeine (cheap, too). I prefer neither, although I can drink more tea for quite obvious reasons - my coffee is very strong so huge intakes result in stomach aches and even diarrhea. P.S. I highly dislike both sugar and milk and I don't use them in drinks. That might be one of the contributing factors.

A strong willpower will help, being able to refuse. And as Purple Haze already mentioned, finding someone other to love, to be together is important. If it's impossible at the moment, seek a psychologist, maybe even anonymously. Don't let this ruin your relations with her as a family member.
