Hi, this is my first post here and I searched but couldn't find what I was looking for so I started this thread. So my boyfriend always is checking out other girls right in front of me. He looks them right up and down. Him doing this makes me feel very insecure and i usually end up being mad at him for the rest of the day after it happens. I've talked to him about it before but I still see him doing it. What are everyone else's opinons on this? I'm interested on hearing from the girls and guys.

It very normal, he is comfortable enough with you that he doesnt need to hide from you....All guys do it some hide it and others dont....
You can take it as a compliment, i would think about it like this, since he likes/loves you and doesnt feel like hes doing anything wrong since you are the one for him, then he does not need to hide it....
You can boost your self estime by thaking it this way instead of thinking negatively....
I understand that it can be annoying but for us (male) it something normal, somethimes uncouncious....dont take it personally.... -
If you have asked him to stop but he still continues to do it, I think that is a bit insensitive to be honest... Personally I would do it back, but exaggerate it more and gauge his reaction- granted its childish but it may just work

True it may see insensitive, but 90% of the time it is done without any intention of annoying you, its just a reaction....
As for doing the same, you might be dissapointed with the outcome since truly it does not effect us in the same way as it does you beleive me, unless he is very jelouse, then its would just show that you are vindictive.....sorry to disagree with you all but thats what i think.... -
Okay, just because you're dating him doesn't mean he can't look at other women, if you two where married sure, it would be kind of wrong.
But you're just dating.
I prefer not to look at other girls whilst i'm on a date, but that's me, some guys simply don't respect girls as much as they should... -
Loyalty is a big part of a relationship, if he hasn't got any, ditch him.

He's not only going to be attracted to you, you need to learn to accept that. I'm sure you think other men are attractive as well. As long as he doesn't go doing anything with those girls he's not in the wrong.

This. Checking out other attractive people is natural, he's just being a normal male with working hormones. Just casting a stare at someone isn't tantamount to cheating on you.

I know its weird, but in all honesty, this is a guy thing.
Like, would you want him to do the same to you?
Lust after you, just for your looks? I know this is still bad either ways, but think of it like this, he checks them out infront of you, rather than hiding it out.
But as a guy, since I'm pretty old fashioned, I must say though i say a girl is hot or cute, I mean she is attractive. I'm dating you for a reason. Out of all the others, I decided to make you my special one. -

Boys will always check out girls no matter what, to be honest. Its just the way it is, unfortunately for you
Talk to him about it if your VERY concerned and upset. If not, let it be. You might find yourself checking out a guy every once in a while lol Good luck. -

So basically, I think [Jon said it,] but men will have their urges to look at other girls of course it's human nature. Now, if you've talked about it once you probably need to bring it up again just to put it through his mind that if he's going to look at other girls in a such ways, then it needs to be not in front of me. You should probably go on to say how rude it is and how it makes you feel. I don't blame you for being upset. But just know any girl that he's looking like is -0 compare to you. Keep saying that about yourself. Be confident. -

Just think, when he met you for the first time he probably told all of his friends how much of a babe you were
I just got out of a 3 year long relationship...It got to the point where my girlfriend would help by pointing out hotties for me. With us it was totally harmless, as most of those girls were people we would never see again.
