      I think it's mainly because they're both so personal or something... Or because I know the stories behind them, and find the stories sad as well as the song, but those two make me kinda teary. Don't think I've ever actually cried, but still...

      These are two of my favourite songs of all time. They're pure emotional brilliance. They make me so sad whenever I hear them. No One But You is one of the greates songs ever as far as i'm concerned. It never got the attention it deserved.

      The main songs that get me all emotional are: my old school choir's recording of For Good from Wicked. I sung it in my final year at school and it's all about parting ways and how we've changed each others lives for good, I tear up whenever i listen to it.

      Another song is a beautiful Scottish folk song called Loch Lomond that my school band played and recorded. RIght at the end they arranger combines Loch Lomond and Danny Boy and it's just so emotional cos it was the last song I ever played with the band.

      And as a change of pace I discovered this song a while back and even though I can't really relate to the songs message it's still so so beautiful.

      Holy crap, exact same thing applies for me :o A group of us sang it at our graduation. It got me really upset every time I listened to it for a while, because me and my friend sang our parts of it together, and her mam passed away earlier this year :( And I felt guilty because we haven't been as close since school ended...

      And yeah, I completely agree about No One But You, it's really amazing, and yet no-one really knows it. They included it in We Will Rock You, the musical, though, if you ever see that. But it really deserves far more attention. Such a sad song :(

      Omg heard on today. Chris Botti's version of Hallelujah... well any version really but this is just beautiful, especially with the dedication and everything.

      It's such an emotional song. It definitely made me tear up singing it for the last time ever at a concert. I'm so glad we had it profesionally recorded so I can always have the memories of it with me. I was a bit disapointed however to actually see it in context when I saw Wicked. It was nowhere near as emotional in the show as I'd expected.
