I just recently stumbled across a video showing all nuclear weapons testing from 1945-1998.

The video floored me when I saw it. It's very amazing just how many nuclear tests there have been in history, I'm surprised there are any islands left in the Pacific.
There must be some enviromental consequences for that many nuclear tests it also begs the question how worried should we be about the nukes? To me It shows just how serious the situation was in the Cold War and how much we should do to limit the nukes and get rid of them once and for all.
