It's an Islamic Community Center.
You can't see it from ground zero.
It's not an insult to the victims.
People need to get over it.

Anyone has a right to build a mosque anywhere. I wonder how it would be handled if it was a Christian in charge of the mosque.

Yeah, it's 61% who don't support its construction, while 70% see it as an insult to the 9/11 victims. TIME Poll: 61% of Americans Oppose 'Ground Zero Mosque' - TIME
Stupid.
Why would a Christian be in charge of the Mosque?
But yeah, if the KKK massacred an entire family in a neighborhood, nobody would be complaining of a church were to be built in the same area.

They should leave this country completely. Would they let us, Americans, build our churches over there? Personally, i think religion is worthless and is man-made garbage so either way people who obsess over the matter just seem to be wasting their time, my two cents.

Accordingly, if they murder a Jewish family based off of their religious doctrines, you could argue that building a Protestant church near the massacre is improper in the same way that building an Islamic community center around ground zero is improper.
What the hell are you talking about?Aleksandr wrote:
I don't know any Protestants in the KKK, or any that focus at all on the Old Testament. Most Protestant churches don't even use a bible with the Old Testament. The KKK has no connection to religion.

We're thinking of the same KKK, right? You know...extremists...white supremacists...big white robes and hats...
No connection to religion? I lol'd. Well, they certainly don't follow their religion. But they're affiliated with Protestantism.
