I don't have a clue why someone would ever want to be really really really really famous, as being in the spotlight 24/7/365 would totally suck. Now, I could go for moderately well-known, but not uber-famous. Definitely fortune.

You can always buy fame, if you really wanted it, and since I'm so shy and introverted, I would be panic attacking out my ass if I was famous.

I would choose fame even though I know fortune would be better for me.

depends what you are famous for, you could be famous for raping many little boys or famous for saving a load of lives.. so i think it does depend on why you are famous. still, saying that i personally think it would suck to be famous. You will find it hard to have peace and to be yourself. People who thrive to be famous basically just want a huge ego trip..

I would definitely prefer fortune. Fame irritates me. I hate being in the spotlight. There is so much you could do with fortune (especially to fund charitable projects). Fame is really all about a bunch of teenage girls with self-esteem issues and bored housewives (and the few men who have nothing better to do) who want to know what goes on in your sex life.

People who have a fortune are famous for having a fortune.
People who are famous will make a fortune due to their fame.

Regardless, I would choose fortune.

Quick, how many billionaires can you name? My guess is only a couple. The people with ridiculous amounts of money keep quiet, people that get all the media attention have nowhere near the money they do.

If you couldn't surmise it by now, I'd take fortune over fame any day.

Depends on what I'd be famous for tbh. Look at Paris Hilton, famous for being a good-for-nothing, oygen-theifing, space-wasting, thick-as-shit TWAT. Then look at JK Rowling, famous for getting millions of young people, myself included, into reading. That said, both of those are filthy rich.

If I had no good reason to be famous, then I'd go for the fortune, I can live off of money, I couldn't live off of fame alone.
