What are your thoughts on it?
Life After Death?

When you die, you die. Until I see hard evidence proving that your person can exist after every biological function in your body has been terminated, I'll stand by that notion.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Trouble is we only have one lifetime to discover the answer. Never-the-less, all will discover the answer after they die, but it will be too late for the knowledge to be of benefit.
The second creation surely will be easier than the first. And the first was 'no effort' for God. He merely has to say "Be" - and it is. And for every person whoever lived, the details of his existence are recorded, ready for the resurrection -
Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?
Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers. Quran 75.3-4But if God gains people through MY LIES, why am I still being condemned as a sinner? - Paul: Romans 3.7
What difference does it make, as long as in every way, whether in FALSEHOOD or in truth, Christ is being proclaimed? Paul. -Phil. 1:18 -
Doesn't exist. Those are my thoughts on it. I need no further elaboration, those are my beliefs. You die, that's it.

I am a man (or boy, rather) of science, and seeing as there is no scientific evidence supporting life after death, then I would say no there isn't. Just one life, so take every opportunity you get, that's my motto.

You become one with the Force, obviously.
-
Your body becomes one with the earth, your soul goes wherever it goes.

I believe that what ever you believe happens to you is what happens. Personally I think that we are Mother God's, Azna, and Father God's, Om, creations. There is a time that we live in what many religions believe to be Heaven. Being an Agnostic, my religion evolves over time. How people can believe that we are just here and we just die is a mystery and debate that will keep going until the end of time. Until we die, I suppose, we will never truely know the answer to this question.Remember yesterday,

I am Alive. I don't think that that stops when my heart does. My experiences, my feelings, my being, isn't something that can be measured in years and months and minutes, and it isn't something that can cease to exist because some fleshy sack becomes a lot less animated. I don't claim to know what exactly happens to the soul after death. I just KNOW it doesn't end in such an inglorious manner. Otherwise, there was no point in being here in the first place. Does hope not spring eternal?

People wonder what it's like to be dead but the way I see it we have already been dead, for millions of years. Where were you in 1000AD? You weren't alive or conscious of being dead which is exactly what it will be like when your brain ceases to function when your body dies.

I honestly hope that I'm wrong and there's an afterlife... It would be nice... But so far all I see is that people are just hoping with no actually evidence.fuck.

What we perceive as "life" is simply advanced biological functions in the brain. When you die, that's it."Young King, pay me in gold."

Nothing's ever offered me a reason for why some part of us would exist without the aid of our body. I'm unable to detach my conciousness while I'm alive, so I don't currently understand why it should detach and survive without a body to sustain it.
I'd like to know that there's some sort of afterlife (a good one of course!) but I can't know or believe something with no reason. If you have nothing to say, say nothing.

I agree with the general idea of your post, but I just had to zone in on this statement. You may not have experienced it before, but "ego-death" is pretty much what you are talking about."Young King, pay me in gold."
